Hi Everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that I had little Zoe last Wednesday on February 9, and she is the best baby ever

She arrived at 7:41pm, weighing 8 lbs 8 ozs and measuring 21 inches long.
I was scheduled for an ultrasound last Wednesday, and the doctor who looked at the ultrasound felt that I didn't have very much amniotic fluid so I had to go over to the hospital for a non-stress and stress test. The non-stress test was OK, but as soon as they hooked me up to the Pitocin (at the very lowest dose possible) Zoe's heart rate dropped a lot with the first very minor contraction. My DH, mom, and I talked about the results with our midwife and an OB at the hospital and decided that a C-section would be the best. They were willing to induce me, but both the midwife and the doctor thought there was a greater that 50% chance I'd need a C-section anyway, so I figured I just skip all the labor pain and go right to the surgery.
The surgery went really easy, and my DH was able to be with me and got to hold Zoe while they stitched me back up. It was so exciting when the doctor told us we had a little girl
I'm hoping to get my pictures dowloaded from my camera tomorrow, so I will try to post some pictures of her. I have to say that I think she is the prettiest baby ever! My Dh is the best dad and is so sad that he has to go back to work tomorrow. He's the official poopy diaper changer, so I don't know what I'm going to do without him
I hope everyone else is doing well, and I know that once your little babies arrive, you will love them just as much as I do mine. Being a mom is pretty fun right now.
