Girls, I got an e-mail today that all of the Trumpette disney socks and tights are on sale - they're all so adorable!! I had the Trumpette Johnny socks for DS and always got so many comments on how adorable they were - they also fit him for a really long time and are well made. I have been looking at some for DD, now I just have to decide which Disney ones to get!

http://www.totsy.com/events

I think you have to sign up to be able to access the sale, but it's free and they have lots of great sales! :thumbsup2

omg those socks are SO cute!!! :thumbsup2

Those socks are so stinkin' cute. I'm having the hardest time not buying clothes for this baby. I know she won't need them - we are getting a ton of hand-me-downs, plus she is the last grandchild/niece on both sides of the family, with my DS8 being the closest in age, so everyone is so ready to buy baby stuff. Plus, the last time there was a baby girl in DH's family was 54(!) years ago, and this will be the only one - they are so going to spoil her. But still, the clothes are just so adorable! Did anyone see the little swimsuit they had at Target that was pink with an attached tutu? Maybe not so practical, but darn cute.

I saw that tutu suit you are talking about. So cute!!!

Well last night we were laying in bed talking and DH brought up that for Connor's sake, it would probably be easier if we knew what we were having so that we could prepare him for a little brother or sister instead of just a baby. It's step in the right direction I suppose. I guess we will see how it goes. ;)

Yay for him wanting to find out the sex of the baby!

Heya :) Things have been super crazy around here, I'm sorry I've been MIA. DD hit her terrible threes early, and has needed a ridiculous amount of attention. She's now getting up even earlier in the morning, and going to bed late at night. She's only been a little cranky... meanwhile I feel like I"m going to fall over from exhaustion. My mom has been here off and on to "help" but I'm not sure if she was helping or making things more complicated than need be. She's REALLY been stressing me out to the poitn where I'm getting BHs from the stress. I just want to get to August, that's all I ask. DH says she's going to put me into early labor. I believe it. DH worked 69 hours last week.. so.. yeah. F my life.

I'm so excited for all of you that are having girls!! I'm so jealous! I'm seriously thinking of trying for a 3rd, despite how miserable I am at the moment (and this has been an EASY pregnancy!) I just feel l need another girl. Don't know why.

I just read a little, sounds like you're all happy and healthy... awesome! :goodvibes Some of us are getting close! :scared1: I can't believe I'm 30 weeks today. I'll be ecstatic if I make it to 38 weeks.... my body is prepping so hard that I don't think I'll even make it to the scheduled c-s date (still yet to be scheduled.. ugh!) I did my 1-hr GTT, still no results a week and a few days later. Ugh. Oh well. I suppose if something was REALLY bad they'd have called.

LMAO at the size of the ta-tas. I was a DD before... I'm a little bigger now, but OMG they look ginormous. And not like Pam Anderson ginormous, like big blobs of b0ob. Lets just say I'm not a candidate for belly casting.

Oh and I"m a little bummed, a little relieved. We've downgraded from the Poly to CBR for our Dec trip... saved $1k. I'm a little sad because the Poly is like my dream, but an extra $1k... thats a lot of money. Don't get me wrong, I love the CBR, but... ::sigh:: at least our trip is paid off. I hate not being rich! (I know I could cut down on the length of the trip and cut costs dramatically... but I don't wanna! I need a break!!)

Stay healthy!! I'll check in again when I get some time.

Ugh! Sorry your Mom is stressing you out so much. I can't figure out why ppl just can't be normal human beings around pregnant women!

I hope you get the results of your one hour test back soon. I think you're right though that they would have already called if something was wrong.

And I'm totally with you on the huge "girls"! No way I'd ever do a belly cast with my monsters! I went from a D to an E and I'm only 16 weeks along!! :scared1:

Yay for saving money on your trip! I've heard CBR is nice. Either way you'll be at WDW so that's awesome all in itself.

Had my 28 week appointment today. I'll actually be 28 weeks tomorrow, but its close enough. Passed my 3 hour glucose test. Baby is continuing to measure big at 31 weeks. Everything is looking great and we have an official date and time for this baby's arrival. Sept 16th at 7:30 am. Only 11 weeks and 2 days till he will be here. Wow!

I'm glad your appt went well! And yay for passing the glucose test! Sept 16th huh? That's 3 days after my bday! Love those virgo babies!! :thumbsup2

Just heard the news that my SIL had the 2nd twin on Sunday. She survived for 9 hours before going to heaven. My SIL had been almost 24 weeks pregnant. Please pray for them.

I am so so sorry to hear this news!! I will be praying for them

I get to schedule my RCS Thursday. I could have done it at the last appointment they said, but I saw the NP and not my OB. I said it was fine, I'd wait to talk everything over with the OB and schedule is at my next appointment which is Thursday. Exciting stuff!

Probably a stupid question but what is RCS?

Had my 32 week appt this moning and things seem to be fine, although I mentioned that I noticed a few specks of blood after using the bathroom yesterday but I also knew that I knicked myself shaving. The medical assistant asked if I wanted the Dr to check to make sure everything was ok and I said sure. He did and there was no bleeding and he even checked my cervix, which is still closed, thank God. The Dr still wants to do an u/s/ tomorrow to check the placenta, which is fine. I'm just getting a little frustrated with him. It's a new Dr for me, same practice. The Dr I had for 15 years left and only has privileges at a different hospital than the one I want to go to, plus it's a 45 minute drive. This guy is ok and I never thought I would complain about too many u/s but I have had at least 5 regular ones and 2 Level 2s, which seems excessive. The last Level 2 we had the peri actually questioned why we were there after the u/s. When we explained that the Dr thought he heard an irregular hb he looked dumbfounded. I love this peri and wish he could be my reg Dr.....he has a great bedside manner and "gets" pregnant women. Obviously, I would rather be safe and am grateful that is is overly cautious, but it also makes me wonder if he lacks the confidence to make a decision/assessment without a test to back him up. My former Dr was total opposite and was always cautious, but confident and reassuring......I'm just not feeling the same with this guy.....

I guess I will find out tomorrow but the Dr seems to think that baby boy is breech. Great! I know there is still time to flip but it is getting awfully tight in there! I dread a c-section. Not because I am scared but because of the prolonged days in the hospital, leaving DD for all that time, plus I am sure they won't schedule a c until 40 weeks and DD starts preschool in the beginning of Sept. It will all work out I know, but for now I am stressing a little :(

At least the new Dr. is cautious. Could be a LOT worse! Honestly c-sections aren't as bad as you'd think. That said, I was devastated when I was told I'd need one with DD... and now I'm dying to schedule my 2nd. :lmao: My Dr. schedules them at 38-39 weeks so it doesn't hurt to ask! I think if they scheduled them at 40 weeks, they'd have a lot of emergency c-sections because a LOT of women go into labor before 40 weeks! I'm not wild about leaving DD for 4 days either, though. Oh well. Sh** happens.

Just heard the news that my SIL had the 2nd twin on Sunday. She survived for 9 hours before going to heaven. My SIL had been almost 24 weeks pregnant. Please pray for them.

OMG. Many P&PTs to her and your families.

I can't wait to schedule mine, but my next appt is July 8th. I don't want to wait until July 8th!! Wahhhh!

TSRE-- we have the little bathing suit with the tutu from Target. SO cute! (Even still cute in a big old 4t!) It's actually her 2nd tutu suit this year.

Arrgghhh DD doesnt want me on the computer anymore...she pulls myfingers backward off the mouse... and then shuts it off!!:scared1:

I had my 16 week appt yesterday. All went well and the appt was short and sweet. They took my vitals, dr came in and chatted with us for a few min and then did the doppler on the baby. This time she found the baby almost as soon as she put the doppler on my belly! HB is in the 140's this time. Love that sound! :goodvibes Took 3 vials of blood. One to test my antibodies again because they're still finding the Anti-G antibodies in my blood from the RhoGam shot I had in the ER at 6 weeks, one for the AFP test (which I'm a little nervous about but really shouldn't be) and one to test me for cystic fibrosis just in case.

I have a private gender scan scheduled for Friday at 3:00pm ET. I can't wait!!

I also scheduled my next Dr's appt for July 23rd and they'll do the big u/s at that appt too so I'll get to see my baby yet again. I love u/s's!!

So all in all it's been a pretty good week for me so far! It will end with awesomeness and then next Monday I will be in WDW!!! :cool1:

I was wondering if any of your dr's are measuring your belly growth? Is that something that they used to do but don't any more? Mine hasn't been measuring me. Not that I really care, I just thought it was something they normally do.

yep, mine still measures, but I can't remember when he started. It wasn't at the very beginning. I've done some reading on that because my belly with this pregnancy has consistently measured about 2 weeks ahead. Apparently it's most accurate for dating the pregnancy from 15-25 weeks and after that, not very accurate. (At 20 weeks your fundus should be level with your belly button)

No two doctors are going to measure exactly the same way, so that's a factor in itself. Mine also doesn't bother if I've had an U/S that day. Other things that can affect the measurement are the position of the baby (breech = longer, transverse = shorter) and whether or not your baby has dropped... in which case you start measuring shorter. At my appt last week, I could tell I had dropped because the week before that I measured 38.75 and last week I measured 38cm.

Anyway, that's a whole lot of rambling for not that much information. :)

Ah ok well maybe that's why my Dr hasn't measured me yet. Maybe she will at my next appt. Thanks for all the info! :thumbsup2

Leger: My Dr started measuring me at around 20 weeks, give or take :) I measured right on every time except this last one, where I was 28.5 instead of 30 (at 30 weeks). He said that was still fine, then later found out baby has already dropped!

Ah ok thanks Iris!! Wow dropped at 30 weeks? That baby is ready to meet YOU! hehe :thumbsup2

I hope not! I want to meet him, just not quite yet! The Dr said it is unusual but not unheard of, and didn't seem too concerned by it (next appointment isn't until July 16) so I hope he stays in there until at least 36 weeks or so, if not more! :goodvibes

Nah I wasn't trying to freak you out! Sorry about that. I have heard of women dropping that early too. I'm sure your little guy will stay in there long enough. Sorry again if I freaked you out. :goodvibes

I'm glad you said the baby dropped--- I think mine did too! :scared1: Yeah, I'm not lasting until 38 weeks... I felt pinching last night, I'm probably effacing. Lovely.

Thats exactly what I'm hoping for, 36 weeks... which doesn't give me long! Ahhhhh!!

Super hot, super swollen, super sick of sucking down fluids.

My this is almost turning into a Dr. Suess with that level of alliteration. :lmao:

Anyway, hi! I'm seriously debating how much longer I'm going to continue working. I wasn't feeling well yesterday and went to the doc's, but everything checked out fine, which is good, and the fact that I can't get my wedding ring or my shoes, for that matter, on is normal by their standards. Which my doctor said, to us it's normal, but we understand it's not normal for you. He's got a great bedside manner, very empathetic.

Anyway, I went this morning to our local fire dept. to have the baby's car seat installed and discovered that DS needs a new one! What we're using for him can be used as a booster (with a back) and the seat belt, but I know I'd feel safer with him in a five point harness. The police officer who installed helped remove the harness and told me he recommends the Graco Nautilus, so we're going to take a look at that. That'll keep DS in a 5 point harness up to 65 lbs (he weighs 50 lbs) now.

I'm thinking of getting the new seat for my car (since I have the kid(s) the majority of the time) and putting the booster into my husband's car. I'm almost positive the car seat he has in there is close to expirinng.

Sorry, long convoluted ramble.

I have an NST at the hospital today and I'm looking forward to lying down. I'm so tired, it makes me wonder how much longer it's going to take for this kiddo to come. :lmao:

Don't worry Ledger, you didn't freak me out. I had been having some super painful BH so they did a cervical exam (owwwww!) at my appt on Friday and it scared me then, but, like I said, DR didn't seem too concerned, so I am trying not to be. he didn't tell me to rest or anything. Just the same, I want to finish up my loose ends over the long weekend just in case!

Mrs. C: I have felt that horrible pinching too. It hurts!

Tarzanskat: I am trying to work until the end, but I keep finding reasons to leave the office in the middle of the day or a little early. It is just too tiring to sit here 10 hours! Good luck with your casseat, and enjoy your rest during your NST today!

They have been measuring me since about 20 weeks. I measured 31 weeks at my 28 weeks appointment. But I measured big all through with my DD so I kind of expected that.

Ok whew! I thought I upset you or something. Don't wanna do that! I'm glad your dr isn't concerned since the baby has already dropped. It's hard not to worry though, I know. Probably a good idea to get your loose ends tied up this weekend though. At least you won't have to stress over it last minute.

Ok so I'll be looking fwd to being measured at my 20 week appt for sure! I dunno why, I just wanted her to do it and was disappointed that she didn't. I almost feel like some of these appts are for nothing. LOL!
