modifying reservations booked using APH

In November I booked a HRH stay using a APH rate for Jan 23-26.

I may need to change check-in to Jan 24. This does not look to be possible to change online : it says the APH rate is not available for the lesser number of nights. Before I try to call USO, does anyone know whether it's even possible to reduce the number of nights booked at the cheaper APH rate? Or do they effectively have to cancel the original booking, and if so, the previous APH rate may not longer be available at all?

I just checked. PB has AP rates for 1/24 -26. Reserve the new rooms before you cancel your original ressie.
