Someone here posted that even though its not listed as a compatible phone by Verizon, they found it in the Blackberry app store and installed it. :confused3

I believe it is available for the blackberry curve, curve 2,curve 3G,storm, storm 2, tour, and bold.

It is not available for any smartphone. This includes iPhone, Blackberry, and Android. It is only available on Multimedia phones that use VCAST.

I also thought this, but this poster insists that they paid $1.99 for the app and they installed it on their BB.

Here is the thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2660629

You will see my conversation at the bottom.

Anyone with a BB should be able to confirm this.

Just downloaded on Blackberry Curve, and I leave for WDW on Thursday. Pretty excited!

I am not so patiently waiting for my VCast Apps to update so I can get this on my BB!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info!!!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

If you have Verizon it is in your Verizon VCast App' s not your BB App's!!!

I got mine and love looking at it while I am at work!!!! A little over a week until we are there again!!!! :)

Where did you go to download this?

I downloaded it through VCast Apps for $1.99 - on a BB Tour 9630. I could not get it from the Verizon web site. The Disney web site below has a list of compatible phones that includes:

Blackberry 8330 Curve, Blackberry 8530 Curve 2, Blackberry 9330 Curve 3G, Blackberry 9530 Storm 1, Blackberry 9550 Storm 2, Blackberry 9630 Tour, Blackberry 9650 Bold. As well as the HTC Droid Incredible – which I think is the only other smartphone on the list.

Just to clarify, this is the official Disney Verizon app that provides the actual wait times and fastpass returns times for the park you are currently in – and only the park you are in – can’t check from home - can’t check MK wait times from Epcot. It also has park schedules and other info - that is also available on the free mobile web site (m.disneyworld.go.com) from any phone w web access.

Strangely, the app was faster on the old LG than the new BB…

I'm new to verizon. I cannot seem to find VCast Apps on my BB 9330. I find the BB App World just not VCast. :confused3

Tx2tn – The V Cast Apps icon looks like a shopping cart with a big V in it - if you don’t see that, you may need to update your software – BB App World is a different icon - don’t know why…

Yep - $1.99 thru VCast apps - I installed the app on my BB Tour yesterday.

I can confirm that the app works on the HTC Droid Incredible – downloaded through VCast apps $1.99

unfortunately for me - I don't have the Vcast application on my blackberry as I have the blackberry enterprise server through work for emails...does this mean I have no way to download the app?

Just wanted to confirm that it'll work on the Blackberry Curve. As the previous posters have stated, it will need to be downloaded through VCast and not the BB Apps. We used it throughout vacation in mid-May and it worked beautifully :thumbsup2
