MNSSHP--why are some dates cheaper?

I would guess that these are the least popular dates ie. earliest dates/weekdays etc? and that it is the reverse and these are the normal price, whereas an extra premium is added to more popular nights ie weekends/closest to Hallowe'en

Just like days in the parks, some nights are more crowded and popular than others. The obvious example would be halloween when everyone wants to go trick-or-treating at Disney. Also, a Tuesday would be less crowded than a Friday because locals have work the next day and wouldn't be as inclined to attend.

Its just a popularity thing. Sept has less people and halloween has the most interest, so it is the most expensive.

Thanks for the replies. We are planning to attend either Fri 9/28 or Sun 9/30. We were planning on Sunday because we thought it would be less crowded than a Friday. Since that Friday is a discounted price but the Sunday isn't, I wonder if it makes sense to do the Friday one? :confused3

My thought is that the 28th is the first day of F&W Festival at Epcot which will draw a lot of people. And October 1 is the Epcot 30th Anniversary so there will be a lot of people on the 30th to go to Epcot on the 1st.
