I am so excited for the party! I was anticipating that there would only be one party while I was there, but it looks like there's two! One on the 4th and another on Labor Day! Decisions, decisions. I am thinking I will plan to do the Friday party, then do DHS EMH on Monday night. Does anyone know, are Friday nights more heavily attended? I guess it might also be nice to do the party on my last full day, so I'm open to Labor Day as well.

I cannot wait to attend MNSSHP! They just really do those up right. I am even thinking about costumes! I don't ever dress up for anything, but where better to go all out than the Magic Kingdom!

Night of Joy is a contemporary Christian music festival and the dates have already been announced for September 11th and 12th 2015. So, hopefully, that means that the early closing of MK on 9/1 may be for MNSSHP.

I'm waiting for the October hours to come out... we are definitely attending a MNSSHP, but since our vacation is the last week of October, I want to know how the parties will fall with the 31st being a Saturday.
I'm kinda hoping that they would not have a party that night so late hours at MK can happen... but I probably won't get that lucky.

You mentioned dinner recommendations... eat early. don't spend party hours at a table service restaurant. someone mentioned captain jack's for an early dinner. I've seen too many party plans that include a 5:45 ADR at Liberty Tree.

It starts at 7:00, but you can get in as early as 4:00 with just a party ticket.

we attended our first MNSSHP on Labor Day last year and it was a blast! I wondered if it would feel enough like Halloween and it sure did!! All the CM's were incredible and joined in so much, and the crowd level was awesome..we rode so many rides that were walk-ons ! DO wear a costume that is to your natural liking keeping the heat(possible rain) and ride access in mind. Eat at 3 if you can(we chose the Plaza as it was close to the bracelet handout by Tomorrowland and we like their food lol) and just get snacks during the party and then eat at your hotel after the party if still hungry. Have granola bars or PB Crackers along or the like for quick access. I wish I were back at it right now, was the highlight of our trip

Great!!! I did think about the "too early" idea. But you're right, I will pack costumes for my kids. i know they will love it! I will plan to eat at 3p. Great tip about the Plaza, Thanks so much!!!!

Are you planning to get in with just party tickets, or are you planning on being in MK before 4:00? I have heard of people being let in with party tickets as early as 3:45, but I'm not sure it's something you can count on. If you're entering with your party ticket, you'll get the wrist band when you enter.

I'm not sure I understand your second question. You don't need to have a party ticket to be in the park at 4:00, it's just that that's the earliest you can get in with a party ticket.

No, you get them when you enter.

What worked good for us last year on Labor Day was a 4:15 CP reservation. We were let in the park at 3:45 (however as siskaren said, that may not always be guaranteed), headed right to CP and were seated by 4:05. We were out of there by 5:20 so still had time before the actual party started.

Now if you are trying to get in as many rides as possible before 7, this may not work for you. But I most definitely agree with posters who have suggested eating early and not wasting party time eating. I know the party is 5 hours, but it goes so fast! Even sitting down for QS during it, which we did one year, annoyed me lol b/c I felt we wasted time, although of course not as much as a TS would.
And regardless of what you're going to do about eating, I suggest getting there for 4! You might as well, you're allowed And then you can be there right when all the fun starts, not to mention getting in line for a popular M & G if that's on your to-do list.
