I know there is an "official MNSSHP" thread but it seems that people ask questions and then they get buried and don't get answered so I am asking my questions this way.
We would like to see:
First parade at 8:35
Celebrate the Magic at 9:45
Hallowishes at 10
Hocus Pocus, probably at either 9:20 or 10:40, which would you recommend?
We are planning on going ToT as well as going on a few rides: Dumbo, MTP, SDMT (have a FP+), HM, BTMRR, PoC. We will be arriving at 4:00 but have ADR so really won't be doing any park activities until after dinner probably around 4:45?

I would like to know if we should plan on watching the parade in Frontierland then head over to Main Street area to see Magic/Hallowishes or should we watch the parade from the same viewing spot as Magic/Hallowishes? Another viewing area recommendation?

Seeing the characters would be great but the above is first priority.
Thanks so much!

I'm not sure since we haven't been to MNSSHP yet but depending on where your ADR is but if you are arriving at 4 and then have an ADr you almost definitely wont be done with your ADr dinner in 45 minutes. Almost all ADRs take at least an hour and I usually allow an hour and a half in case they have a delay in seating you.

It's going to be very crowded in the HUB and since you want the early parade and a show, I would find a position in the HUB to see if you can get a good view for all with the early Hocus Pocus Show, otherwise I think you'll lose a lot of time.

ToT is NOT in the Magic Kingdom.

I am also questioning your ADR. What time is it for and where? I don't see you getting in at 4, to a restaurant, seated, served and out by 4:45.

"Trick or Treating"

I think the poster means Trick Or Treating, not Tower of Terror. :)

OP, other than the ADR at 4:00 only taking 45 minutes, I think you can accomplish your priorities. I'd watch the parade from Frontierland/Liberty Square then make your way to Main Street for the fireworks. All the Hocus Pocus shows seem to be crowded, so I don't think which one you pick matters. I'd probably go for the earlier one since it will put you in position for the fireworks anyway.

You need to think about a more central location if you want to see the first parade, the Hocus Pocus show, Celebrate the Magic, and Wishes. I honestly don't think you'll be able to move from Frontierland to the hub after the first parade, it will be absolutely mobbed. If those are truly your priorities, think about just nailing down a piece of real estate near the hub or Main Street around 6:45ish, and just park there and people watch.

If the second parade is an option for you, you have a little more flexibility.

Haha, got it, it was on the line with rides ..... and kinda Halloweenie ..... guess I never abbreviate the candy.

That was my first reaction, too. I'm pretty sure that in this case, it means Trick Or Treating.

Unless you have little kids with you and you plan to leave before the end of the party, I'd sugggest waiting and going to the later parade. I'd also save the Trick Or Treating for later in the evening, my experience has been that it is less crowded later on.

OK so from the reports I have seen with candy pictures it looks like an assortment of regular candy (m&ms, twix, sweet tarts, etc). But on the map some of the treat stations have sponsers like peeps. Do each of the treat locations only give out certain kinds of candy? Do any of them give out Disney specific treats like Goofies candy co treats or the like?

We only got the mm, twix and I think snickers in the park but when we left, as soon as we went through the exit we got handfuls of Dove chocolates!!! Yummy. Still eating them!

Yes, when I wrote ToT I meant Trick or Treating. Sorry about any confusion.
We have 2 younger ones with us, 5 and 7, so I don't want to plan on seeing the second parade then miss it due to them needing to go to bed. There are 9 people in our group.
Wow getting our spot at 6:45? that really is early. Would you recommend getting a spot to watch the 8:00 Hocus Pocus, then stay in the same spot for the parade and fireworks?

Could we:
Have dinner, this time I will figure 60 minutes due to the above recommendations :). We are at Tony's for dinner. I know this isn't a favorite of everyones but I wanted something in the park and BOG is booked.
Pick up our Sorcerers Card
Ride Dumbo and SDMT (FP+ for 5:15-6:15)
If possible go ride HM and BTMRR
At this point is it ok to have 2 or 3 in the group get a spot for the parade and fireworks?
If time another ride or 2?
Meet at spot for parade or first Hocus Pocus
Stay in same area for Hallowishes?

If kids are up for it to go on more rides, dance party????
During the above plan we plan on stopping for candy at the ToT locations.

After reading so many bad reviews I am having some buyer's remorse over spending the money on this night. I hope it turns out well. :earseek::confused3

No you should all go sit and wait for parade. Just a few saving spot while others ride the rides is rude.
