We are going on 9/18 and my son is also going as Jake and I made a Izzy costume for myself too.

Hey that's great!! I would love to see a picture!!! Great minds think alike!! Lol.. O hope there aren't too many adult Izzys!! Have a great trip!!

Now that we are 3 weeks out from the first party, have there been any rumors or news about characters being added or dropped from last years line up?

Only heard from a good source that the line-up will not change much. I wouldn't expect much better info until about a week prior.

Was wondering that myself...

We will be going Fri 10/5 and Thurs 10/11. How will the lines be for Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy?

If I buy my tickets online do they mail them or do I have to pick them up??? Also, we are saying my daughter is 10 to get her the adult dining plan. She has a bigger appetite. Can I purchase her halloween party tickets for the childs price since she is technically 9 1/2 since its a separate ticket. We bought her adult tickets for the park on other days.

If you order them online or by phone you have a choice of having the tickets mailed to you (for a $5.00 fee) or set up for will-call, which can be picked up at any ticket-selling location at WDW.

If you tie them to your reservation they will automatically use the age in the system. If you buy them at WDW, or don't link them to a reservation, you should have no problem in getting a child ticket for her.

Quick question - DH and I plan on eating TS somewhere before MNSSHP on the 14th but wont have time to change between our ADR and MNSSHP...thing is though I will be wearing a costume (snow white) and DH will be wearing a grumpy t-shirt...I dont want to go to say Kona for dinner and have everyone saying who is the crazy 20-something year old dressed up like a princess..also dont want to get in trouble from any CM's...so is this OK or not?

How have you handled eating outside of MK in full MNSSHP costume prior to the party?

TIA!:cloud9:

We're planning on going the same day. Originally we were doing an Alice in Wonderland theme. But now I think we're just doing our tie dye Mickey shirts with silly hats. Less to pack with flying.

We are going the 11th but we are doing alice in wonderland!!! took forever to get the whole family onboard..but it will be fun..we have alice, white queen, red queen, hatter, cheshire cat (so happy to see how colaspable that head was once it arrived!), king of hearts, card, and catapiller! They probably will take up a whole suitcase but I hope not...lol!

Hmmm...cute idea with the snow white and grumpy TSHIRT. Trying to think of something easy that my DH would agree to....

Well, suitcase space isnt too much of an issue as we are flying sw so we can have 2 per person. Less costly I think for the couple bucks in extra bell services tips than to ship! I only get nervous as we have a transfer to the dark side I still need to arrange and I am concerned the luggage wont fit in the van....perhaps i need to do a mock pack!

Woohoo! Just got our tix for the September 18th party in the mail today!!

Last time we ate at The Wave in costume and are planning on doing the same this year.

How late do the characters stay out at MNSSHP? Do they cut the lines early?

The characters do mostly stay out until near the end of the party, but since lines can be long entry to them can be cut early. The princess line was problematic in years past and could be cut 30-60 minutes before the end. I would not chance getting in line for anyone important to you past 11:00p at the absolute latest.

Does anyone know if Pirate's League is open later on party nights in September?

Also, I saw somewhere that they don't do the pirate parade on party nights. Is this true for all party nights? (including September dates)

My DS5 is so looking forward to being in the parade, but right now he's scheduled for a 2:30 appt on 9/11 (the first MNSSHP). Didn't know if I needed to change it...(We're doing the party that Friday night instead)

According to the official PL thread, PL is open until 7pm on party nights, and there are no parades on party days.

Does anyone know if Oct 5 is likely to sell out? I've looked through about half of this thread at random and have not seen any comments about this particular day, even though the tickets are non-discounted, so I'm assuming it has a sellout risk. Also does anyone know where the candy stations may be? We haven't been to a party since before the Fanstasyland re-do.

thanks!

Purchased tickets for the 10/30 date, cant wait to see how busy it will be. No idea what to dress as. DW wants to go in costume, but I cant think of anything I feel comfortable wearing.
