HI ALL!
TUESDAY 4/14 stayed for the "WISHES" Fireworks at MK, GREAT SPOT, in Tomorrowland 100 feet in front of Space Mountain full view of the Castle and all the of the display, and decided to leave at the end plus do some shopping in the Emporium.
Tried to leave via the Monorail for the MK Parking Lot and found a snake line of guests form one side of the enterance to the other all the way to the monorail ramp and down to the water front.
The paddle boats was backed up all the way to the turnstyles.
even the Resort Monorails were mobbed just as bad.
In the twenty odd years going to MK I NEVER SAW the crowd backed up at 10pm like that.
We thought initially we were going to be midnight before getting to the car at the MK parking lot.
Then I remembered the walk way to the Cont. which took 7 minutes, where we boarded the Resort Monorail to the Transportation Center and walked to the car in the MK lot.
We were in the car at 10:35pm.
I feel bad for the Disers who got caught in that mob seen.
Hope this will help others with another option getting out of that situation.

"ENJOY!!!"

"THE MAGIC HAPPENS!!!"

Thanks, as a newbie I'll have to remember that! :D

We were there(MK) Wednesday 04-14 worst crowd I've ever encountered in any Disney Park. Posted hours were 11:00 and they extended to 1:00 am due to the congestion. We left early it was too much for me. We went back early Saturday 04-17 and walked on every ride we wanted for three hours.

 WE WERE ALSO THERE ON WED 4/14 , I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO MORE CROWDED THAN NORMAL BUT WE DID NOT EXPECT THAT KIND OF CROWD!!!!!!!!!!!! WE WENT BACK TO MK ON FRI AND IT WAS ALOT BETTER, MGM WAS HORRILE ON TUES4/13. MY DH WHO IS NOT A HUGE WDW FAN WANTS TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE NEXT VAC. IT LEFT A BAD TASTE FOR HIM, I TOLD HIM WE NEED TO GO OFF SEASON BUT HE HE STILL INSITING ON MYRTLE BEACH OR OUT WEST!HELPME. I'LL LOOK INTO MB BUT NOT THE WEST TRIP WITH KIDS. AS ANYONE GONE TO MB? I ALSO PUT THE DISNEY CRUISE INTO HIS HEAD, THAT WAY WE STILL GET DISNEY AND THE BEACH.:wave2: princess:

Let him know that in five trips to WDW that was the worst day I have ever encountered. If you guys go back in the off season it will be a much better experience. Our last trip was the last couple days of February and first week of March and it was great.

We were at the MK Tuesday, March 30th. The crowd was unbelievable! There was actually a gridlock on Main St. after Spectro Magic and before Wishes. After Wishes we were in a huge line for the Monorail and timed it. We were on the Monorail (up front with the driver, no less) within 10 minutes. After boarding the third tram, we were at our car in 40 minutes from the time we got in line just outside the gates to MK. I think that was remarkable considering the crowd.

We noticed the resort monorail stopped at each resort for a few minutes so it probably wouldn't be any faster than the express.

The drivers do a remarkable job moving the record crowds. We were told that they can move 45,000 people in 45 minutes. Incredible!

We stayed at the Beachclub Villas for the first time. It was very nice but I like BWV better. The crowds were terrible. We were there from 4/19-4/25. Every park closed early, only one parade a night, I was really disappointed. The line for TOT was 120 minutes for stand by and return time with a fast -pass was 4 hours. When we returned, the fast- pass line had a 30 minute wait. We had just spent 4 days ay Universai at the Hard Rock . . . no waiting at all. Disney is losing its magic for me. I also spent a day at Discovery Cove which was outstanding. We go every year and do not want to stand in line 50 minutes for The Great
Movie Ride. Each time we go we spend less time at Disney Parks

We just got back 4/19 - 4/26. Stayed at the Pop Century. An interesting resort. I do think it was a bit noisier than the All-Stars, maybe because things are kind of close together. I think the bus service was at best - mediocre.

My DH wanted to go to Epcot one day and three MK buses came and went before an Epcot bus ever showed. Standing was normal.

For those of you at MK on 4/20 will know what I am talking about, after Wishes the bus line for the PC was wrapped all the way past the luggage checkpoint, down towards the monorail area - and probably further, but this was as far as I could see.

I could have sworn that every single occupant of the PC was at MK that night. We were actually in the queue lines. so we got on about the 4th bus to show up. At one point, there were 3 busses taking on PC passengers. I do not really understand how they schedule busses. While we had this horrendous line for the PC, the other queues were moving right along.

We too were at Wishes on 4/20. Our goal was Ft Wilderness and we had to wait for the fourth boat to take us back to the campground. I don't know if buses at the TTC would have been better. The Supervising CM said he had all his WL-FW ferries in play and if Disney would buy him another boat, he'd have that out too. Bus transportation at the Fort was fine, but it took us until 11:00 to return to our site.

We did have a great view of Wishes on one of the paths just to the right of the hub. What a nice show. I liked it much better than the first time I saw it in October.

We were there for the fireworks on 4/25 and also encountered the mass exit from the MK. We were staying at POFQ and thankfully that line was one of the shortest ones. The long lines were POR, and Carribean Beach. Man, I have only seen an exit like that once before, which was in October the first night of Wishes! I took 2 hours to get from the Castle to our car.

Gotta love it!!!

Thank you for the tip, wasn't sure If a public walkway existed. I was at the MK the other night to see WISHES and it was just as bad... made for a long night getting out and back to my car at the Boardwalk resort.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know that we just spent a wonderful week in Disney from 4/17-4/24 and we stayed at the Vistana outside the park. The crowds were minimal compared to any time we have ever been before and so many of the rides we were able to walk right on.
The longest wait for us was at MGM and this was about 25-30 minutes from the Rock-N-Roller coaster and Tower of Terror. Space Mountain was a walk right on ride 4 times in a row!!!
Leaving the Magic Kingdom was not terrible although we did opp to take the boat as opposed to the monorail.

We stayed at PC and had a 2 hour wait for the bus after Wishes on 4/21. Since I had a rental car I never used Disney buses again after that horrible night. My son, 3 1/2 was absolutely miserable waiting all that time, so late into the night. I thought it was a freak incident, but sounds like its happens allot.
