I would like to know if it is a fact that MK and MGM have switched their EMH mornings on 4/6 and 4/8. I don't mean to offend anyone in another posting, but this is a very serious issue for us planners, so I would like to know the official information. If no one knows, then how do we find out for SURE??
Thanks,

The way to find out for sure is to call Disney directly

I believe the information to be very reliable but it sounds like you need to ask Disney directly due to the severity of impact on your planning strategies

I checked the employee site this morning and you guys are correct, there is no EMH at MK on Thursday the 8th. There is a EMH planned for Sunday the 4th. MGM has EMH on Tues. 6th, Thur. 8th, & Sat. 10th. I imagine if you call and ask them to check, they will be looking at the same info I looked at this morning. I guess that's why all of their sites always end with dates/times/prices subject to change. It does show that MK is openning at 8:00 AM that week. Sounds like it's going to be PACKED.

So you are saying that MK and MGM didn't switch...there isn't an EMH for MK between 4/5-4/10 at all? If this is the case, does anyone have any strategies for this?
Thanks!

yes, according to the calendar on the employee site there is an EMH Sunday the 4th, then again on Sunday the 11th. None in between at MK. Mon (5th) is AK, Tues (6th) is MGM, Wed (7th) is EPCOT, Thurs (8th) is MGM, Fri (9th) is AK, Sat (10th) is MGM. Strategy......I think everyday will be the same. Actually thinking about it, I would skip Thursday and go Wednesday, because all of the people who DON'T know that there is no EMH on Thursday will be there along with the regular crowd. JMHO.

Good idea - take advantage of the arbitrage created by a knowledge gap

One piece of info to note is that MK opens earlier to ALL guests during Easter week. Opening time is 8am daily instead of 9am. So ... the people who show up expecting an EMH will get in anyway.

Thank you so much n2mm! I have been trying to figure out how yo re-configure our schedule to beat the crowds as much as possible...like it will be possible at all...and this was great advice! I really appreciate all of your responses!
