$398.00 12 days in july. with taxes total =$ 498.00 for a minivan from alamo with NO codes. anybody with anything better???? im still hoping. opinions?

Try checking Dollar R-A-C. I was looking up prices last night, and found that they have the best deal for the times that I need a van for-2 weeks at $504.00.

Just a tip......I have gone to the Dollar web site as well as other car sites and they say that there is no availability for the type of car that I want and then gone to Travelocity and been able to book. Acutally this happened just recently when I tried to book a minivan on Avis' website and they said that minivan's were not available. A little while later I was just screwing around on Travelocity and tried booking a minivan and Travelocity showed them available, so I booked it and Avis confirmed the ressie.
