It's active, I think they pulled it earlier today because they posted it before 3pm.I don't see the offers anymore! I wonder what happened?

I was able to add this to my reservation Jan 9-18 at AoA family suite. Looks to be about 30% off room rate? Saved us over $900. The only part I don't like is we cannot have tickets as a part of the package (because of the military ticket offer). Guess I'll buy tickets separately and attach them to My Disney Experience. I was able to keep the DDP and keep it a package deal. Now to see if this deal or the S,P,D deal coming out Monday is better for us. We'll see!
I'd do what the CM suggested. If you want to have less chance of having to move, select the same resort, same room type. You can ask to have the reservations linked, and note you kindly request to not have to move. Mention it again when you check in. Even if you do online checkin, make sure to check in at the front desk so they are aware of your request to stay in the same room for the last two.Has anyone used the salute discount to book a really long vacation? I tried to book today (July 2016) for 16 days and was told I could only book a trip for 14 days max and still be eligible for the military discounted rooms. Is that really the case? I'm surprised, since the CM basically told me I'd have to either book two trips back to back and check out then back in for my last two days or cut my trip short.
If I can book a trip for 14 days, then book another for the last 2 days why can't I just book one trip for 16 days? The CM said this is how it works when you are using a special offer and that you can book a vacation for 30 days at rack rate but only book 14 days if your using a special offer.
I guess we will just book for 14 days instead of 16, but I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem when booking the military discount or really any special offers where you were limited to a max vacation time of 14 days...

If they let you stay, you'll still have to walk down to the desk the morning of day 1 of your second stay. They will make sure your band works for your room, etc.
It's not always easy to get 14 days in a row. If that was very important to me, I'd book as soon as possible.
I'm reasonably sure I've heard of this before, but you could always ask. I had another idea, don't know if it would work for you. What if you put the 2 extra days at the front of your stay? I would think it would be easier to talk to the CM (upon check in) about staying in the same room day after tomorrow, rather than days down the road.Yeah, we will book the 14 that we can, I'm not willing to take a chance on possibly having to move rooms after we moved into one and unpacked 14 days worth of clothing and miscellaneous items for two more days. We will just stay the two weeks instead of 16 days. I know they'd do everything possible to keep us in the same rooms, but we have a big party so we'd actually have 3 rooms in a busy time of year, I just see it being more hassle than it's worth. So we lose a few days, oh well, we'd love to stay longer but if Disney has a two week maximum then that's what we will do they'll lose out on our two extra park days, dining and hotel fees but that isn't anything to a corporation as big as Disney.
Just wondering if others have heard of this 14 day maximum or if I should try another CM. I'm sure the CM was correct though and we will be thrilled to be at Disney world for even two weeks!
