I spoke with someone at Aulani. We are going in November. The Military discount they told me is not applied until 60 days out from your trip and the discount is 25%. They also told me that there is usually a 30% off sale in the Fall that is better then the military discount.

It’s 40% Sunday-Thursday on ocean view and partial ocean view. I think the 25% is on Island and pool views. Available 60 days from check in. The details are on Aulani website.

That's all very inaccurate information. They often release military offers that include dates around April-early June and then again in the late fall. They release these offers pretty far out. The discount is dependent on room type and length of stay. It can be anywhere from 20-40. The military offer this past fall/winter was better than the general discount offer.

Unless they have changed the offer for 2018...

The guidelines have changed with military bookings. It used to be you could not book military rates until 60 days prior to arrival but that recently changed. You can book anytime through 2018 (except during block out dates which this year is 5/26/18 - 8/25/18). However, there are at different times of year when there may be an offer for a special rate (such as was notated in a previous post) and the higher discount applies to certain view types (such as partial ocean and/or ocean view rooms). Military discount does not apply to suites or 3 bed grand villas at any time. I suggest calling reservations to get the most accurate (hopefully) information.
