Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

According to the schedule posted by ecmommy Twas the night before Christmas show starts at 6:45. This leads me to believe that since the park closes at 6pm for regular guests that Tomorrowland must be the pre-party corral. If any one can confirm this it would be greatly appreciated.

You could stay in Frontierland or Tomorrowland. We rode BTMR and SM with no wait between 6 and 7 p.m.

Party merchandise is noted on the party map even though the photo spots are not.

The pins are only available in Exposition Hall.

Other items include red long sleeve T-shirts, blue tye-dye short sleeve T-shirts, navy blue sweatshirts, photo frames, mugs, ornaments, and a stuffed snowman with Mickey ears.

Sorry, don't have access to post pix yet.

Regarding the 2 parades during MVMCP - I'm assuming that the parade route is opposite each time, so once it moves from Main Gate to FrontierLand and the other time from FrontierLand to the Main Gate. Can anyone confirm and let me know which parade goes which direction? Thanks!

The parade went from main street to frontierland at both parades. I was suprised it was reversed also. But it was awsome.

Do not miss the special Wishes!! Unbelievable. 7:45 show for 'Twas the Night was less crowded than at 6:45.

CM told me around 6:00 they were shuttling people towards Frontierland, but it seemed like, if you had a green band, you could be anywhere. Huge rush for food at Pecos Bill in Frontierland at 6:10, we got there at 5:55 with no wait.

Do you remember the price for the snowman? :sunny:

Is the general concensus still that the first parade is more crowded than the second?

I believe snowman was $15 (he had Mickey's Very Merry stitched on his back).

Don't know about the first parade because we avoided the area but was able to get seats on the curb in front of the castle about 1030 for the second parade if that's any indication.

We arrive on the 11th and I'm thinking about going this night which is a Sunday, do you think it'd be very busy?

This may have been asked before, but how long do the Disney busses run on the nights of MVMCP? I am assuming until an hour or 2 after the event??

Locals have to work the next day, so it shouldn't be too bad I guess. Normally we try and go on week nights only. Either way, you will have a great time! :teeth:

We were supposed to attend MVMCP on Sun. night. Instead, on the way down, my 21 mo. old choked on some dried fruit in the car and I ended up taking him to the e.r. in Leesburg. They transported him to Orlando and we were finally released later that night. I spoke to disney when I checked into our hotel and they kindly refunded our tix and we ended up going to MK the following morning. It was definitely a memorable trip, one I hope not to ever duplicate. I hate that we missed the party, especially for my 4 yr. old. She was really looking forward to it. Plus, the next day was bad weather so we didn't get to do much at the park.

Thanks for all the great advice and tips! We are going on the 13th. We can't wait!!! Did they have the Special Storytime with Belle this year? If so, can anyone tell us what times it was and if it is worth going to see? We have a 4yr old dd, and our baby DD will turn one at Midnight while we are attending MVMCP! Yea!! Thanks!!

OMG, I'm glad everyone was ok. That is great that Disney refunded you.

I missed this part, do you get the Cocoa and Cookies anywhere, or is there a specific place to go get them?

jennifer

They usually have designated places to get the free cookies and cocoa. The locations will be in the special map!My DD loves this! My pocket book loves it! We dont usually spend any money on snacks during the party!!! :cool1:
