MGM to EPCOT transportation option ?

We are having scheduling difficulties and have discovered a possible solution. Now I just need your help to find out if possible.

We are wanting to be at MGM to see Motorcars parade at 3:00 and make it over "America" at EPCOT for the CP at 5:00. Is this possible and anyone know the best way to get there?

There should be a direct bus from the one to the other. Very easy!

Sure! Just make sure you are near the front of MGM for that parade, and as soon as it's done, walk quickly to Epcot (half an hour at most). You'll follow the walkway along the canal and past the BW, and into the International gateway entrance to Epcot.

I too am looking for the best route from MGM to Epcot. I believe there is a boat right outside of MGM that goes over to the showcase area of Epcot.

Well, DH and I are defintely up for the 30 minute sprint from MGM to EPCOT but our 70ish parents and our little DD's w/ no stroller may protest
Is there a boat that goes directly from MGM to EPCOT International Gateway? If so anyone have a guestimate of that time to get beteen the 2?

Yes, there is a boat. It takes about 30-35 minutes, not including time waiting for the boat to show up. That would be cutting it close.

How about a cab from MGM to Epcot? It would be about $12 plus tip, and would take you door to door. They have minivans that will hold your party.

Good suggestion on the cab. How close do you think we could get to International Gateway? Probably YC and we could walk from there?

Find a spot for the parade near the MGM Entrance, that way you can get out fast. You should be able to get to the boat before the crowds and to Epcot with no problem. The closest resort to the International Gateway with a cab would be the Beach Club. I would see if a boat is waiting, if not see if you can find a cab.
