Menu changes at Epcot's Liberty Inn

It still amazes me, with all the really good food that is available in different areas of the US (from seafood to BBQ and everything in between), this is the best they can come up with for the United State pavillion. The other countries have some very good restaurants, but not there. I was hoping the new menu would fix that. Doesn't appear to.

I think QS locations in the other countries are owned/operated by outside companies. Only the Liberty Inn is pure Disney. It's also the only place where I've ever returned a fast food entree in or outside WDW.

It really is sad, especially considering the diversity of cuisines here. For example, from Louisiana you could have red beans and rice, jambalaya or gumbo, all are fairly inexpensive, easily prepared in large quantities and do fairly well when made in advance. Heck, my gumbo doesn't even hit it's stride until the next day.

Being from Missouri I would love to see barbeque and when you consider the different styles from Caroline to Texas and then KC/St Louis you could actually make a nice section of the country happy.

I have never had any desire to eat any of the food served at Liberty Inn, and this new menu does nothing to change that.

When I see the building, I always wonder why they don’t have a Philly cheese steak.
But then I laugh an when I think what a Disney Philly cheese steak would be

Cosmic Ray’s had a cheesesteak at one time.

The filling was decent, but the roll it was served on was atrocious. Fell apart and tasted like styrofoam. I remember eating the insides with a fork and a bunch of mushrooms from the toppings bar.

It's sad that one one of my childhood trips to WDW, I remember that we ate lunch at Liberty Inn. I also remember that it wasn't very good. I'm pretty sure my parents chose it because they figured my picky self would eat something off of the menu.

Fast-forward to me in my 40's and the parents in their 70's. I remember asking them in 2016, "Do you guys want to try eating in Morocco?" They made faces and answered with a resounding "No!"

*sigh* The roles have reversed, LOL.

American Adventure is for listening to Voices of Liberty and a comfy place in the AC to rest up on a hot day for a bit. Eating there? Not so much.

So far I've had no interest in entering American Adventure when we go to the WS. We've done quite a bit of visiting historical sites on the east coast so it doesn't seem that important right now to see Disney's version; maybe when we visit WDW for the 10th time, LOL.
There are better representations of American food than most of what I see on the current menu.
