Men and crocs

I think guys that wear crocs look very feminine....I can't stand seeing guys wearing crocs!
LOL, not if you saw one of the residents in the OR that wears them! Lordy, he is YUMMY! I swear, you could bounce a quarter off of that butt and he's ripped too! I would much rather see a guy in Crocs than that stupid thing that some guys do with the sneakers, shorts and the socks yanked up way too high!
I think what's attractive is someone who wears what he wants and doesn't give 2 S#@ts what people on a message board think.:)

I gotta admit. Those don't look horrible. They blend in. No wonder I never saw men wearing Crocs (not that i ever intentionally looked).

I'd question your wearing jeans to the Parks. :) I assume it was a much cooler month.

It was November and quite cool, hence the hoodies!! It did warm up.

I've 4 pairs now and my children wear them to school. We all love them.

PS, I'm not over weight

I got Crocs for our whole group last year when we went to Disney. Stepson and DH refused to wear them, but stepson-in-law has worn nothing else since. He has the beige ones for summer, and now the black no-hole ones for winter, and NEVER wears anything else ever. He is very manly too. He goes to the gym a lot and has large muscles.

Now in this picture of him and my step daughter, really, which looks better, SSin-law or the man in the background?

PS, if anyone here is Background man I am sorry.

It is no surprise that most people wearing crocs are overweight.

Judgemental much?

No one in my home is overweight. I own 2 pair, as does the DH and the DD, the DS owns one pair and is asking for a second. Before the next trip I plan on grabbing at least 3 pair of Mickey crocs. (The DH is a size 13 so those are out for him.) We all wear our crocs happily and don't give a ^&^&(%# what someone thinks about what is on our feet. :cool1:

There are work crocs, which have a closed foot area. As for the heel, who really cares? It's not like my stepmom-the-nurse (who wears clogs other than Crocs) or her crocs-wearing colleagues aren't wearing socks.

If they're wearing socks, and have a closed toe, I guess I'm good with it. But of doctors start wearing tank tops for comfort under their white coat, that's wear I draw the line. ;)

what about man flip flops????? at least crocs sound manly - flip flops?????

but wear whatever you want!!!

what is mickey wearing on his feet anyway? are they booties? :dance3:

I think it's hilarious that some people even think flip flops aren't manly! :rotfl2:

What should a man wear to the beach? Sneakers? :confused3 Oh wait, I know...Crocs! :rotfl:

I personally think men look fine in Crocs and flip flops. The only looks I don't like are dark socks with sneakers, white socks with dress shoes, and any socks with sandals!!

ok, so here is a question. I bought a pair of black crocs a few months back. I have never really worn them out, being a guy and usually wearing sneakers when I wear shorts.

I was just wondering what everyone thought about guys wearing them. I really like them, they are comfortable and i like knowing that they wont get soaked in wdw downpours or water rides. However, I feel funny wearing them cause they do have a diff. look than just a sneaker.

So im asking if people think men look silly in them, and also if there are any men out there who wear their crocs to the parks.

thanks

Guys in our community (Boulder, CO) wear them all the time. I see them everywhere; on men, women and children. My husband wears his all the time. He has worn them numerous times to the parks.

I (of the female persuasion) own close to 10 pairs. Due to orthopedic reasons wore before they became en vogue.:rolleyes1 Glad they're now acceptable, don't have as many people making wisecracks about them.;)

Must say i am thrilled that DH & my DSs have zippo interest in wearing them - i may have to wear them; sure don't want to look @ them wearing them too. It's a double standard and I'm quite proud of it.:lmao:

As for Disney apparel, you're expected to look Goofy - swing away!

I own two pair and swear by them. I can do Disneyland all day in them without getting sore feet. And they don't stink. I bought a pricey pair of leather sandals once and had to toss 'em because they got irreversably smelly. Yeah, Crocs look ugly, but there isn't a shoe on the planet that will make me look like George Clooney. I pretty much wear them everywhere unless required otherwise (i.e. work, fancy dinner etc.)
