Personally, I would do the trip at a Value for the good reasons you stated. Here's an idea to make a special memory. If you are staying on site, I would have the kids do an evening in one of the Kids care centers at the Resort. I would do a 60th Anniversary Dinner with Parents and other adults at the best restaurant I could afford. The Wave for more moderate budgets, California Grill for bigger budgets and Victoria's and Albert for really big budgets. These are quieter restaurants where you, the Parents and other adults can enjoy a great meal together and celebrate their event.
