Membership ID??

I used to pride myself on being organized! But now, with 4 kids, a job, sports, dance, etc, I have lost complete control and can't seem to keep track of anything! I really need this vacation!! We're going home for the first time on July 6 and I can't seem to find my id cards! I have the temporary ones. Is it possible I didn't get them? What do they look like - are they hard plastic? And can I get them replaced???

They are hard plastic, blue/purple one side, white on the other. I misplaced mine recently too, and I know I need mine to pick up 7 MNSSHP tickets at a guest relations. I called MS and asked them to send a replacement, but was told that I could go to SSR and get a temporary card that will "work" for me.

I know that I had mine out to make a ressie recently. I don't have the excuse that maybe they didn't mail me mine.

Your room key will have the words "DVC Member" on it, and that is usually all the ID anyone asks for at WDW as far as DVC goes. You could take your temporary cards too as back up, and I'm sure you'd be fine.

Received packet of info. June 8th.
Called June 9th for reservations (finally in system). Put on waitlist for October.
When should I expect my ID card ?

I called Member Services today. I was convinced that they MUST have sent them and that I misplaced them! We bought in 9/05. Member Services was able to see that our cards were never sent. They put in a request and we will receive them in 4-6 weeks... after our trip. That's what I get for not checking sooner! But as Granny said, our room key will have DVC member and any discounts can be redeemed with that id. We will probably bring our temp ids, but it didn't really sound like we needed to.

I have 2 cards when we got our first cards they only sent one for me and not one for DW. Called and they said they would sent DW a new card. When the card came there was also one for me.

I wish they would send new cards every 10 years at least! My DH's is nearly worn out, and you certainly can't read the number on it. They used to replace them, but now they seem to no be doing that.
