MCO PCR testing

Has anyone booked at MCO for their PCR testing for the return trip home? I'm wondering what your experience was like? Did you have to pay up front or remember what the cancellation policy was?

I'm looking for a BeeperMD backup (booked xmas even) and Walgreens doesn't appear to do testing beyond 445pm or on Xmas. This is getting complicated.

Why do you need it on Xmas?

I have Beeper booked for the 24th at the early end of my 72 hour window and potentially need a back-up booked (to be completed no later than mid day 25th or we don't have sufficient time to get the results).
Walgreens appears to close for appointments just before 5pm.

I would NEVER EVER recommend MCO/Advent Health for testing. They left me completely stranded for one of my trips; no PCR testing kits arrived that morning and they couldn't be bothered to call anyone. I had to rebook my flights etc -- it was an absolute horrible experience. I'm assuming you are leaving on the 27th if the 24th is the early end of your 72hr window? I would be more inclined to book with Walgreens on the 26th as your backup; yes it's cutting it close but I think in the end you are still better off with that plan than relying on MCO/Advent Health (unless you are going to make a special trip to the airport and get it done on the 25th; I would question if they are testing on that day as well). Plus you can book a week in advance now with Walgreens; and all reports I have seen ppl tend to get their Rapid ID Now test results back w/in a few hours.

We had the ID Now tests done last week and our results were back within the hour.

Whats the cost of this test at the airport please? Does someone perform it on you or is it self administered?

If you can, go with Walgreens. ID NOW test you have the results in under an hour.
