MB and Ressie Question, Would this Work?

Hi.

I first typed everything out, but my post was too long for my simple question...here is the bottom line to my question:

Can I add a person (my bff) to my October DVC ressie and then purchase a MB for her, since I believe the solid colors are available and less expensive when staying off site.

Then, can she use that MB for our off-site trip next month when we stay at my other TS, since she has a one day ticket and we will be purchasing G+ and hopefully ILL? I would link her one-day ticket to her MB in my MDE (she doesn't have her own account).
She is on my MDE from past trips.

Then, after April, I can take her off my October DVC trip.

Would above work?

Yes, that should work, as long as your DVC villa accommodates her in the number of people allowed.

She has (well, I made) a MK ressie for her for April 20.
Do I need to link the band or does MDE just know that her ticket and band are linked since I purchased
under her name on my GFV October ressie?

Also, can I take her off my GFVs ressie now or is it just best to wait until after our April trip with our husbands?

If you bought the MB via a link to her in MDE, she’s good. To be sure, you can look at the list of MBs & Cards in your MDE and make sure that the number inside that new MB is listed under her name. Or if she has her own MDE, she can look. And I can’t think of any reason that you shouldn’t take her off of your October reservation. It shouldn’t mess with any April park reservations, ADRs, etc.

I see she has 3 MBs. Two are pink and I see the one I purchased, the Lilac.
She threw away the two pink ones from past trips and this Lilac one is under her name so she should all be good, correct?
I think I will just wait to take her off my GFVs ressie until after we get back LOL Thank you so much!

I don't think I would take her off the October res. I know at one point, people were being warned that if they got a discounted MB thru an onsite reservation and then cancelled that res, they would be charged the difference between the discounted price and the full price. This was before the Covid shutdown, so not sure if they are still doing that. If her being on that October res doesn't cause you any issues, I would just leave her on it to be safe.

Wow, thank you. While I believe you, it's hard to believe that Disney's IT can actually catch this and then charge the correct person the difference LOL There is no issue of my leaving her on the October ressie so I will just leave her on and take her off when we return.
