Don't know if anyone is still looking at airfares but I noticed today that Delta has some ridiculously low fares to Europe. Honolulu to Copenhagen for $850. I couldn't make myself wait. If only they would repeat that price next June when a Baltic cruise would fit nicely.

I grabbed our tickets today from Cleveland for $750. Also seeing some TPA-BCN for $450 for end of this month and the first few days in June.

I see some BUF dates for $704.

Got my new iPad! It's awesome but I'm learning about macs for the first time!:surfweb:
Congrats, rashdecision! :cool1:

I don't have the 3G one, but I do have an iPad. Let me know if you have any questions... I've been getting used to mine, but it's very similar to my iPod touch.

And my camera kit arrived yesterday! So I can download my pics to my iPad! Yay! Great for those of us who are paranoid. :goodvibes

Which videos are you referring to? Has anyone kept up with the cruise critic daily blog while on the April 24th sailing?

Found out yesterday that my new 3G version of the Ipad which was supposed to arrive today was actually mailed today and is currently in Hong Kong and should get here until the 4th. UGGGGHHHHH. I am not a patient man when it comes to my toys.:headache:

Holy cow..... Only 15days until we sail and 12 days until I fly out of here!!!

All this talk about the Ipad had me shopping this week. I almost got the Ipad but got a Mac book instead. "I'm a PC" so it was a big step but I'm really excited. Planning on taking it on the trip so that I can watch movies on the plane and then view the pictures of our incredible trip on the long plane ride home. :cheer2:

When will you be there in OCT?

We will be there from Oct 21 - 24. All the time we have been to WDW, but never for the Halloween Party.

We will also be on the Disney Dream and WDW in Oct 2011.

Are anniversary in Oct 18 so I try to plan vacations during that time.

The Halloween Party is awesome and the parade is my favorite after MSEP. We've been going every Sept since 2006, with the free dining offer. But this year we will miss it because Disney changed their hours and they don't start the MNSSHP until late September. We are soooooo bummed about it. We dress up for it pretty much every year. I think I'm more disappointed about missing MNSSHP than my daughter is.

Oh well, maybe another year. I told my husband that we are not going again next year. I want to spend my vacation days touring Europe while I can. We go back to the States in 2012 and I want to get as much touring as possible. So we will probably go back to WDW again in September 2012.

My husband is not too happy about that, but I think he will get over it.

You can try finding a light weight bag similar to this. Also be careful with the carry-on rules. They only allow 1 item (not 1 bag and 1 personal item) in the cabin, and it's a 10kg limit.

Thanks, but if I ordered anything off of the internet I don't think I would get it in time. We have some other duffle bag type suitcases, going to weigh them today. We weighed one of our suitcases and it weighs 13 pounds (empty) leaving me only 20 pounds of clothes. I don't know how much my clothes weigh, but my husband's shoes weigh about 10 pounds each :rotfl2:.

I also read about the carry ons. We are going to drive over to airport and make sure our carry ons are the right size and pack very carefully.

It looks it we have room on our private tours in Italy for 3 people. The information about the tours are listed below. If you are interested PM me. :)

Hello moneyhappy (Tammy),
We are very interested in joining the 3 private tours of Italy with DGS that you are organizing for the Disney Magic Med Cruise.
We are in stateroom #2511. We are off tomorrow on a transatlantic cruise (RCCL) to Barcelona. Could we please get in touch with you on the ship to finalize the details? Thanks.

My camera addition comes tuesday. Have you downloaded apps for travel yet? Especially Barcelona.

Is anyone doing the Valletta Hunt in naples? My granddaughter wants to do it, now that sounds like she is 5 years old... no she is 21, but wanted to see the city. pooh

:cool1::cool1: Packed one suitcase with all of my clothes that I wanted to take and a pair of shoes or two, AND it only weight 28 pounds!!!!! That is 5 pounds less than my allowable weight and I still have a second suitcase that I can pack. I've already paid for two suitcases for me, two for my husband, and one for our daughter. Soooo, I'm way less stressed over this whole suitcase weight issue.:woohoo:

We might actually get everything we need packed and still have room to bring back whatever we buy. Of course I will have all the room left over from taking out the FEs.....if they get here on time:scared1:. All my mail is behind due to the volcano, don't know if I'm going to get them on time.

I have faith that they will get here on time, just worried that I won't be able to put them together and decorate them in time. :confused3

Keeping my fingers crossed.

2 weeks from the time i'm writing this post we'll just be finishing up the lifeboat drill :goodvibes

I've been MIA for a while and trying to catch up. I seemed to recall someone asking about Rome in an earlier post. All I've done was put a list together of people wanting to meet and ride the train together. The itinerary says 7:45 all ashore, so I'm thinking that the 7:59 train is not realistic, at least for us traveling with 3 kids.

My plan is to take the 8:41 train and get to the Rome Terminal at 9:50. From there, we are either taking the metro or a taxi to the Forum and then go to our 11:15 guided tour of the Colosseum. After that we'd go to the Vatican and hopefully have time to squeeze in lunch, the Pantheon and other sites on the way before our 2:00 Vatican tour.

Helen - any interest in joining the others on the DIY for Nice & Monaco?

I just noticed on the 4-24 navigator that Disney Dreams will be on the last sea day. Don't they usually have Remember the Magic on the last night of the cruise? We have Palo dinner at 7 that night and would either have to rush through dinner or get bad seats for the 8:30 show. I have seen Disney Dreams three times and still love it!

I really need to look at travel apps. I have Google Earth, and Star Walk (which identifies the constellations based on your location). It's really cool. I've downloaded some white noise apps in case my room is too noisy for me to sleep (I doubt it with the room I got, but who knows!) and I've downloaded the DCL and Rick Steves' podcasts for our ports. I have a metric unit converter also. I'm also downloading movies for the long plane ride. :cool1: Any good travel apps you've heard about? It's mostly an iPod touch on steroids, but I *do* like it!

Where did you find the 4-24 Navigators? I'd love to take a look at those!

I haven't seen any of the shows! They're all new to me!

They may do an afternoon showing aswell because it is a sea day. They did this last yr when we were on a 7day Eastern.

I noticed the EBTA people had said that there was no remember the magic on the last night.

I hope we get Heath Hyche as the comedian (like the 24 Apr lot have) - we saw him last yr and he was v funny.

Hello,
We wonder if there are other available shore tours/excursions for this Magic Med cruise that some of the more experienced members can kindly suggested. Thanks.
L & K

This may seem like a silly question but when someone calls the ship from US,who pays for the call?
