only 50 more days til the cruise!!

Finally got some decent airfare, and since it was cheaper to fly in a day early and leave a day later, got our hotels booked too for less than the extra airfare would have been to leave on 5/15. 2 Days to have fun in Barcelona!!

YIPPEE!!!

In May in the Med it will be a bit chilly at night if you are on decks, so I would pack a jumper ot two. Should be pleasant in the day, but wont be scorching.
I cannot or have not seen any box free to book Palos other than at night. I would have liked to do the brunch, perhaps us Brits are not allowed?

On our booking there is 2 adults and 2 children but we have linked bookings with 2 other families. Could this be why we can't book???? Is there another way of booking it as well as online?

I just checked and it is allowing me to book for Palo's brunch as well for 10:30 on the last sea day. We are also linked to other reservations so that shouldn't be a problem. Have you called the Disney info line? They should be able to help you.

Got excited then We really want to book Palo for Brunch but it is still showing not available for me. Do people who have been before think we have any chance now of booking the Palo for either brunch or high tea?

Someone called DCL and it turns out the reason I could see it but none of them could is because I was booked there. If you're booked there apparently it looks like there's availability. So that might be the reason why.

perhaps that is it, but I'm almost certain that it was blanked out before and has just now started showing availability.....of course my "certain" holds less and less weight the older I get . I have a tea reservation as well, and yet tea doesn't show up as available, so it all seems so odd, who knows! I feel badly about getting hopes up, I'm sorry for my mistake.

I agree, it's really weird the way it works. I don't know why it shows up that way sometimes and not others... Of course, it could be that people are just really fast too! People cancel all the time, though. Last year, I just kept checking back online everyday and finally an opening showed up. If, not you can always check at Rockin' Bar D on embarkation day, they always keep reservations aside.

I logged in today and now our is Category 4!

We didn't get a phone call from DCL about it...so I'm calling our TA in the morning to see if they contacted her, since I'm assuming its a free upgrade!

Awesome!!!! Congrats! We're in room 8510, so its nice to know someone else up there! You're towards the other end, but still. Hopefully, we'll see more upgrades soon!

On the brunch thing, I think everafter is right. When I actually clicked through the availability, it showed availability for the exact time and day I'd already booked.

Very excited.....upgraded from cat. 9 to cat 6....my very first upgrade after 4 cruises (2 DCL), 5 was the lucky number for us . Good luck to all of you, may pixie dust fall on everyone!!

Wow, that's fantastic! Congrats! I'm so glad to see people getting upgrades. Our last cruise was in a cat 6 and we loved it. Plenty of room.

So glad people are getting upgrades. Hopefully they are doing the higher cats first and then will do us in cat 12 soon. I keep checking every day. I think when we get it, if we get it, I will be dancing around the room like a loon

Thanks, I'm very pleased. Cat. 6 is the only stateroom we have had on DCL, but we do love it. It is even sweeter getting it as a bonus

I'm guessing they will be bumping up the mid cat. to make room for all of the 12's....should be a bunch of us very happy very soon!

That's what I'm thinking. Move the 9s to 6s, so the 12s can have the 9s, that kind of thing. Makes some sense anyway. Here's hoping!

I talked to my TA and she called Disney...it is a complementary upgrade to the Category 4

We just got our upgrade. We went from a cat 10 (inside stateroom) to a cat 5 (outside with verandah)...
This was for both of our cabins!!!!!!
