Anyone else with GTY booking checking their resservation every morning hoping for a room assignment? I hate not knowing my cabin! I hate not knowing things in general, which is why I hate surprises!

The company has just responded to my email - €200 for a 3.5 tour and €300 for a 6.5 hour tour. Seems very reasonable and it is private so you would get the whole attention of Laurie. Perhaps if you want to speak to your DH and the 4 of us could do it and split the cost? I could ask Laurie if she/he is willing to do that?

I will ask my hubby and see what he says but I am thinking his reaction to a 6.5hr night tour would be horror as he would be trailing along behind as a non-photographer! what sort of time are we talking as we already have plans for seeing Parc Guell and dinner at the HRC and I need to see if it is feasible.

Sorry if I have put you off - you still need to see it on the boat to see what you think! I was just like meh and waiting for something to happen the whole way through. But I don't like James Franco and I always think it was going to be hard for Disney after Wreck It Ralph has been such a huge sucess. And those two films have come out in a matter of weeks in the UK so I think we are all still loving WIR

No worries, I'll still see it, but I'll be prepared to not love it. The ads just looked stunning and I was really looking forward to it, but your review and those of some other friends have made me aware that I may not like it the way I'd hoped.

Yay! We are on the same flight but for us, Philly is our final destination. We are all sitting in row 23, so you can either take that information to sit as far away from the baby as possible, or come sit near us so we can fondly discuss our trip and look at pictures. Misery loves company. Our long flight home will be depressing. I much rather have the long flight first, where I am excited and have something to look forward to! Maybe we can met up at the airport before our flight?

I'm not in a GTY room, but I am checking obsessively for my flight info. I still don't have that. I realize that I may not have it until 30 days out, but I keep hoping since someone else here got her flight info already.

Sorry to have to bring up disembarkation, however I was wondering whether anyone wanted to share a ride to the airport fairly early on the 1st Jun just before 9am.

The reason I mention this is that it's a complete scrum trying to get taxi's and long queues form and can easily take over an hour to get one. I have a midday flight to catch and fly back to Scotland a quick turnaround then back to the Magic in 5 days for a 7 night Med.

Yep, I'm doing the same thing. This is the first cruise we have done a GTY.

Haha, I do NOT have a baby but my sister does. She will be 4 months at the time of the cruise. I am sure my sister will be more than willing to help you with your baby withdrawal

I've got a question about using Disney gift cards on the cruise.

I've read that you can apply gift cards to your on board account to help pay your bill. However, I'm a bit confused about billing.

I'm assuming that all of the charges are going to be in US dollars, even though we are going to be heading over to Europe. On the Disney gift card website, it says you can use gift cards on Disney Cruise Lines (as it says on the back of the cards too).

However, the FAQ on the gift card web site also states:
"Can I use my Disney Gift Card at Disney locations outside the US?
Disney Gift Cards are only valid for purchases in the US"

So, for those of you who have taken the EBTA or WBTA crossings before, have you been able to use Disney gift cards? I'm looking at this possibility, as opposed to bringing cash.

Yes you can use them onboard.
You can also use them onboard on a ship that goes to Mexico for example.
Plus the charges made on a ship come from ashore in the US.

The mentioning about outside US no giftcard is because that way they cover the fact that nobody want to use their dollar loaded giftcard in a non dollar country (buy in the US and try to use it at Disneyland Paris).
It all sounds obvious but apparently it isn't because today i was at the Starbucks and somebody tried to use their US Starbucks giftcard to pay for their cup of coffee here in the Netherlands where it's charged in Euros and tey didn't understand why tey couldn't use their giftcard because Starbucks is an US compagny....
