I knew I had missed something! Updated the link to rollcall on first post now (quoted below with new link)

I would like to join the group, I am a beginner.... point and shoot. I got a Canon power shoot s3 two years ago for Alaska and got some great shots for what I know. My favorite was my whale tail shot, very proud of it.
Eje G: Thank you for organizing the photo walks. I have a suggestion that would be a fun addition to the photo walks -- "My Best Shots."
My Best Shots allows each person to bring up to three prints of their bests photos to show others. While we are waiting for a sunrise or sunset, we can share prints, which are easier to view than displaying photos on a small camera screen. Any size print is fine (4x6, 5x7, 8x10). For those wanting to improve their photography skills, peer review is invaluable. Because the photo walk is the main emphasis, everyone must follow the three photo limit. No one wants to see 200 photos from someone's last vacation.
My Best Shots is a great tool for learning, and inspires others to get out and shoot.
Any thoughts?
Woody
So I found my whale shot but I can not get it to paste here.
How do I do it?
I am happy for the 20th for sunrise/early session as that is the CC day isn't it? Happy to do even 3 walks, sunrise, sunset and maybe even night?
This is becoming more popular then I thought when I first suggested it
Is it really bad I want to do ALL of the tastings??
You will never stop wanting lenses or other accessories.....I could sit here and spend £10,000 on camera equipment in a heartbeat and not have half the stuff I want.
I think 20th would be great for a sunrise/early session. I will put that down as one of the walks times. Will figure out where approximately we will be and what time sunrise is for that day and post the date and time.
Sure getting popular, hope you don't mind me taking the stick and running with it and getting things moving.
ALL of the tastings.. uhm no, guess we will be seeing a lot of each others than![]()
Uhm. I could probably spend that money on a single lens..600mm f/4 or the 400mm f/2.8 OOps... Expensive hobby for sure (my other hobby/passion is Corvette's
)
I added Photo Walk to list of events in Post # 1 along with event organizer and link to specific post for details that will be kept updated.
About to run an errand but will go back through the thread later from the past few days to make sure I didn't miss any other updates![]()

Thanks Mandy appreciate it very much.
Hey there! Any homeschoolers headed out on the 2013 EBTA?
My first car when I was 16 was a 62 corvette with red interior.
Not a problem! I also added sunrise Photo Walk to the first post as well![]()
Hi there,
I have a great memory of the kids sitting up on 10 deck forward to midships when various kids were supervised by Youth Activities doing classes, however they were all kept seperate from each other. I was lying not to far away sunbathing and I had to chuckle these kids doing schooling slap bang in the middle of the atlantic whilst everyone else was sunbathing.
Evening Everyone,
I can't help thinking that this EBTA cruise will be the quietest TA crossing DCL have ever done, certainly the WBTA's are more popular, however the lack of chat on the boards and the fact that the cruise does not depart from Port Canaveral and of course the time of year for school kids. It could good for those hoping for upgrades and easy to get spa appointments and such, however it is noticeable when you get on board.
Is anyone else thinking the same thing?

I don't think it's a bad thing at all. We already have had one blow-up a couple of months back, and those on Facebook and DISboards seem such a great group now.I hope the cruise is not quite full and that everyone has space to stretch out! THis is our first TA and now I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you!
