Would anybody in the US be willing to do me a very huge and kind favour?

Is there anyway somebody could call the Mirage in Vegas for me and ask if the Beatles Love show is on this NYE? No worries if not, I am not sure what your telephone plans are like over there calling cross country!

ticket sales only go to 30th Dec, you can also email Mirage for info and found them easy to get in touch with when we saw a couple of shows and for restaurant bookings ttx

Thank you - I probably should have explained a little more - I saw the 30th December show on sale. This year the 31st falls on a Tuesday and that's the day the show usually has it's break.

I never even thought of emailing them! Lol - how silly of me! Thank you

I don't see your avatar. For the avatar I've just uploaded right from my computer. For signatures I've used photobucket, which is like imageshack.

Hi there,

For those who have cruises out of Madeira before, you may remember that they built a new cruise terminal on the port/seawall completed in 2011, well it seems as though they have built a 2nd much closer to the town of Funchal, I spotted it when looking for people disembarking from the AIDA cruise ship in port. It makes the town easily walkable for most. This will trim at least a mile of the journey into town and the new terminal is almost in the town itself.

This is for the Rent a Princess. From what I understand you can request 2 tickets per child. Not sure about the ages but if you have a child that does not want to go and can get tickets, please let me know. If you have extra tickets due to either having kids that aren't going or parents that aren't going please let me know. They are some adults that would like to attend. I will match up the unused tickets with those who need them. We are not sure what day it is on or what time. Evidently they assign that when on board based on how many kids are on board. If I have left anything out please let me know! Thanks!

I need to add that an adult must accompany a child. Mandy said she was pretty sure the person who gets the tickets will have to enter with the "princess" she is accompanying, and many devise a meeting time and place prior to the event. They also exchange cabin numbers to call one another once the ticket date/time has been announced as we had two teas last time. Usually at Lumiere's. HTH.

We are doing a 3 1/2 hour tour on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM since we have other things we want to do as well.

That is great to hear!! We are sending hubby's mom on a tour, but were looking at immersing ourselves in the Funchal town area this time since we toured last time. It looked interesting and we just didn't get to visit it. Being on foot (with two kids) helps being closer.
