Hi there,

Last night we were chatting to a friend of the family, who is also a CM on the Magic and heading back to Texas today and during the conversation time zone changes came up. We think that we will be losing an hour on 7 different nights of the cruises, which is not good ? I expect to miss at least one or two events due to this as I never really consider time when cruising, the PJ breakfast will be interesting, lets see who remembers to change the clocks.

Hi, Thanks for the information. We brought our own gear last time, but don't want to bring it for just one day. I did the same thing the first time I went snorkeling. I was rather pink on the back of me and glowing white on the front. Quite attractive:crazy2:

I did it last time I went snorkeling and I should know better. Normally just burn once each year and had already done so. It was a overcast day and had such a great time that I lost track of time (was out snorkeling for well over an hour). Was interesting trying to find a comfortable position to sleep that night. LOL

Wilkommen, your English is far better than my very rusted up German that I learned to in school but ohh a good 20 years ago and which I have not practiced anything of in the last 15 years. Do remember the important stuff such as saying hello, introduce myself, order a beer and a weinerschnitzel ;) Funny thing at one point I was pretty fluid in German and spent weeks in Germany and only spoke German. How fast we forget a language when we don't use it...

Yep it is seven! First one will be before we hit CC. It was a reason we placed pj breakfast early in the cruise because previous EBTA trip reports showed fewer and fewer making it to breakfast by the end of the crossing lol! Kinda like late dining on wbta having fewer folks there by the time desserts rolled out ;)

I don't think the time will change the first night though so on breakfast will hopefully be okay. It's a possibility... I plan to ask inboard to be able to share at 3:00 meet and greet as a reminder. It I can come bang in your stateroom door ;)

yes.. it will be interesting. Remember that Galveston is on central time , so it will be an hour change to Eastern for CC, and then on from there..i would guess, but I don't know, that it will be easier to change an hour each day then all at once like flying in.. the first day before the med cruise, when we had been flying all night, was not pleasant..

My solution is to close out the bar and set the clock based on the time the bar should close ;) :drinking1:thumbsup2

BTW the Navigator will remind you about timezone changes. :thumbsup2
