Weather was perfect today in virginia!

We are getting really excited and I have started to pack. We are a little nervous about easyjet's luggage rules, so I have been reading some of the travel "lite" sites.

Has anyone else looked at these and tried them. I am really tempted....I suppose the gift shop will be well stocked in case of a shopping emergency! ha ha

I don't believe it...here I am minding my own business and the power goes out again!!!! I know this is off topic, but this is the 4th power failure since the storm...I am really starting to get frustrated by all of this. Sorry for the whining. I am just annoyed.

I am glad the laptop was completely charged. I wonder how long without power this time?

Is there anyone else in Bergen Co that is having this type of trouble??

Hi everyone,
Our weather here in Boise was pretty rainy all day today, but it sure is making the grass nice and green!

I have decided, along with most of you, to spend the last night on board the ship too....never thought of that. If there is a Magic Fountain show on Saturday, we would much rather go to that one! Please fill me in on that.

I don't know why, but I just remembered that my husband speaks fluent Spanish (went on a church mission to Argentina for 2 years) so he is going to be very valuable these next 2 cruises! Anyone that needs his services, we only charge a small fee. Just kidding!

I have 2 questions:
1. Do I call DCL to link my son's dining with ours? We booked separately.
2. Should he ask for an upgrade when we arrive? He's one deck lower than us....I have no idea what category.

I have been having so much fun making Fish Extenders! I made Mike a 3 pocket one. He dind't think he needed 5 pockets! If anyonbody still wants one, I can make you one!

Also got our door magnets done, and I finished a dress that I had bought fabric for. And we are still 3 weeks away! Amazing!

2. Up to you really on the upgrade. If you want to be on the same floor its worth asking, or just have a look a the room categories and see if there are any the same category on your floor. You might find that you can just change his room to one on your floor without paying. Last year I was one floor down from my parents and we coped fine.

Good question.. I'm sure we will need several for different colors and we will need several people working at the same time. I'll be getting some as well. I will be meeting with CQuick probably on Tuesday and Misseulalie, if she is not teaching, at the Florida Mall Michaels and Joann's to choose a banner material. Anyone that wants in on the shopping trip can certainly join us.

I work on Tuesday so I'll just see you on Saturday. I'll bring 4 brushes. How many people should I plan sunshine potatoes and cookies for? Thanks so much for hosting. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Michelle--Wow, your husband must be great with langauges! I wish I were that good. I lived in Spain a year and visit my parents in Mexico often and I can certainly hold a good conversation, but I am not anywhere close to fluent. Now, my dad after 10 years of living and wokring in Mexico is just now getting to where he really feels he is truly fluent.

Connie, etc. (already forgotten who else wants to go to pyramids). If any of you feel more comforatble with someone who speaks Spanish (alas I am not fluent ) or just want to travel with more of a group to the pyramids (busses or taxis depending on what seems to make more economic sense when we are actually there--leaning towards busses which are FUN anyway) you are WELCOME to tag along (note, I wil have two kids in tow--I'll try to keep them from driving you crazy ). I will post on my dooor the afternoon before we arrive in Tenerife what time we plan to meet on the gangway. So, you can just swing by 6002 sometime that evening and find out the time and we will all meet up. I hope that works for everyone (all about keeping it simple here).

Morning all, what a beautiful weekend. Started the process for a new garden on the weekend. I did manage to get out to the driving range to hit some balls.

And speaking of a driving range, do they have a golf simulator on board?

Pat--I love how as soon as I heard the computer chirp that there was a new reply I knew it was you! We seem to be up at about the same time every day (or typing anyway). Dave and I are not golfers. I thought I remembered a simulator being on one of the top decks, but I just looked under golf in the index of the Passporter and there was nothing. So, I am thinking I must be remembering a Princess ship and the Magic doesn't have one. But, it would be good if someone who would really notice golf would chime in and confirm (or tell you how off base I am!).

I urgently needed a few days off work, but I knew my Boss would not allow me to take a leave.
I thought that maybe if I acted "CRAZY" then he would tell me to take a few days off.

So I hung upside down form the ceiling and made funny noises.

My co-worker (who's Blonde) asked me what I was doing?

I told her that I was pretending to be a light bulb so that the Boss would think I was "CRAZY" and give me a few days off.

A few minutes later the Boss same into the office and asked "What are you dong?"

I told him I was a light bulb.

He said "You are clearly stressed out. Go home and recuperate for a couple of days.

I jumped down and walked out of the office. When my co-worker (the blonde) followed me, the Boss said to her, "And where do you think you're going?"



She said, "I'm going home too, I can't work in the dark!"

We are also staying at the Marriott for one night. I would also like to see the Magic Fountain but do not want to miss anything on the ship, so I think we will probably be doing this on Sat.

Is anyone going to Montserrat in Barcelona on their own? We are going to do all the ports on our own using public transportation. No plans just going to wing it.

There has been lots of talk about the possiblity of POC 3 showing on the dumbotron. It is just ocurring to me that they probably won't do that. Isn't it going to be PG-13? I think they only show G or PG movies on the dumbotron since it is in such a public area where many kids might legitimamtely be even if they are not "watching" the movie. I seem to recall this being the case previously. Anyone know the policy?

When we were on the Aug double dip they showed POC2 on the dumbotron, but is was very late at night. I think it was like 10:30 or 11:30 p.m. This was also the week they premiered it in the theatre so I don't know if it made any difference.

Hi Anita,
I'm still here The posting rate has really slowed hasn't it? We are trying to decide if it is becuase everyone is out enjoying the good weather, or if some who have WDW trips before the cruise are so close to leaving they don't have time to post anymore. I am thinking it will get really slow in May when so many poeple are already on their vacations (you lucky dogs you).
