Oh! And today one of the guys even asked if I was losing weight. I was surprised because men are usually so careful about saying something, anything, about a woman's weight. He said, "So what's going on Holly? Did you lose a little weight?" Um.....yup! I told him I can't see it, but can tell by how my clothes fit. He told me the biggest clue to him was how my clothes are sagging and about to fall off. Hmmmm.....too bad I didn't think of using that for an opener to ask for a raise to buy new clothes!

I've been on Ebay, BUT I was listing items....(mainly to cover my purchases!)
Someone is making me adorable Monster's Inc dresses and another seller matching necklaces and bracelets...

still no word on the job front and I am going to just put it out of my mind. I interviewed, sent thank yous and left a message. It's with the state so a number of things could be held up. I am just used to hearing immediately. Keep your fingers crossed though. I still would love a shot at it.

I have to agree with John. Our two dogs always had each other as company when we were not home. Just my thoughts....

I think that is a great idea to have one for each girl. However, they still are good company to each other when you guys are not home. If I were you, I would get litter mates.

Tonight Tyler was in bed and almost asleep by 7:20, which is a record for him. But that's only because he was tired from staying up late (9pm) last night (bedtime is usually 8). Because of going to bed this early tonight, he'll be up by 6am at the latest (we usually get up at 7).

This sheds some light, V. Government job selection is like no other! I have a friend who applied as a nurse here at the VA 3 weeks ago. She called the manager who interviewed her on Monday and she said she selected her and sent the paperwork to Human Resources over a week ago. They will eventually send a letter to my friend offering her the position. From the selecting end I can tell you that it is just as frustrating for us as it is for the applicant!

John's think alike - I was telling Sophia this the other night, which she of course tells my MIL, which of course gets me into all kinds of trouble. But I agree with Noel.

We have to get a little more puppy out of Lexi though before even I will consider it.
