I thought so too! Of course, I'll probably have my usual breakdown at around 5 days because I can't take the whining and fits, etc. with no break 24/7 (because at least at home I have work or him going to his dad's which gives me that desperately needed break from his high energy level), BUT Tyler will have a great time again, as always, and that's what matters most! :goodvibes

1. Maybe he will LOVE the kids club this time and that will be a break...

2. I am happy to have him hang with me.....if he likes me at all to give you that little break too!! I love to hang at the Mickey pool and I will not have any little ones with me .... thus no excuse!!

That's so good!!!!

Sometimes writing on these sites, emails, that kind of thing it is difficult to express things properly because there are no clues in the voice, face or mannerisms. I know on some forums people get offended so easily, and of course I worry about the US/UK differences in speech and sayings.

Although of course it was me who got into trouble that time!!:lmao:

same with asl sign laugagues total different from us (BSL):scared1: But we get on great anyway.

Sometime I don't understand why they had saying on forum too:rolleyes1 I think because i miss hearing words.

But I get there anyway!!

I heard stirring from the couch and thought that after an hour and a half Tyler was waking up. Nope, just rolling over. Looked at me sleepily and went back to sleep. Maybe I should go poke him a few times and see what happens.

(You all know I'm kidding, of course!)

Lisa, that's so sweet of you! We'll see how things go. If nothing else, it sounds like we'll see a lot of you at the Mickey pool! One of the days at port last time, we were in that pool for hours with only one other child & mom there. Very nice!

Thank you Marilyn. We did have a great day at DL. Then dinner at Outback. Yum. Today is my actual birthday.

Everyones birthday wishes mean a great deal to me. This birthday has been somewhat difficult for me as it is the first one without my mom. So thanks to all of you for making my day one filled with love and friendship. :grouphug:

Great isn't it!! :dance3:

With all this talk of paying in full, I'm so chuffed that I paid a while ago and got over $2.00/£1.00. :cool1: With the exchange rate having gone down since then, my 'gamble' paid off.

How much can you prepay before boarding? If i wanted to prepay say tips and alittle extra how much do they allow for?

As far as I know you can put whatever amount you want into an onboard account before the cruise. Last cruise I think we put $1500. . .
Another way of setting aside money for the cruise is to buy Disney gift cards, and once onboard, have Guest Services apply them to your shipboard account. We did this last November on the Magic.

Hi everyone! Can someone please help with some answers? We have not received a room assignment yet (gty - paid in full), will we get a room assignment with our paperwork or sooner?

I have also seen reference to a website for this cruise with a password, can we gain access and how do we go about it?

Is anyone prepaying their tips? We have thought about it, would like to have as much paid for before the cruise, any thoughts.

Thanks,
Joseph
We'll probably be prepaying tips. I would like to have as much prepaid as possible...

I think you can do as much as you would like.

there will be lots of us at the Mickey Pool!!

gosh - the thread seems so alive! I love it, with everyone coming out of lurkdom it makes it feel like the cruise is almost here!

As much as you want. I did $5,000 for our Med cruise as we had some very expensive excursions.

If you overpay, (I have done that as well) they just credit the extra back to your credit card you paid on.

I love getting off my vacation with no debt.

I hear you. We are in training. Yesterday we trained for the cruise by going to a champagne brunch at Marie Calendars. It was delicious!

Woody, this could qualify you as an honorary member of the champagne girls!!! Ha Ha Ha......I like this kind of training!

How about the rest of us????:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Just kidding. Nice to have you on the thread and :welcome:

We are looking forward to meeting everyone. It's just that Bobby is well travelled and has paparazzi following him to take his picture. He must have many interesting stories to tell. Is this the same Bob Dole that ran for President a few years back?

Me too V. Like this time last year - only much better of course as now it is only a little over 3 months to go!:dance3:

I haven't started training yet!

By the way with Karen not being able to ship the Champagne etc how do you think we will manage this?

Karen said she will ship to her hotel and then carry it on board....for the champagne and for any wine orders that anyone wants to place with her beforehand.

holly I'll be glad to babysit for an hour here and there if you need to escape. heck I'll even stay in your room after you put him to bed so you can enjoy some adult libations!

Might be like poking an alligator. :scared1: When my kids were little and sleeping I would be very careful about waking them! ;)
