Thank you Marilyn. We did have a great day at DL. Then dinner at Outback. Yum. Today is my actual birthday.

Venetia -

Embarrassed that I may have missed it - and I didn't!

So Happy Birthday! :bday:

Venetia, glad you are enjoying your birthday weekend. We are celebrating Peg's this weekend AND next (her b'day is the 23rd). As a matter of fact...I have to hit the shower, as she took today off and wants to play....so much for the housework I was going to do today. We're off to see Mad Money and have lunch.

Gydell, I picked up the post card today (had to hunt for a special one), so it will go in the mail tomorrow.

....later kids...

Please tell Peg Happy Birthday from Bubba and I. I hope you both enjoy your day together. And let me know how you like the movie. And what was for lunch. ;) I love that she is like me and takes more then one day of birthday celebrations.

Elk Grove is beautiful! We almost moved there...it's near Sacramento area, sort of. (Just to give you a general frame of reference).

Thanks - that explains why I hadn't heard of it. I'm not very familiar with that area.

Venetia: Yeah, what John said!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And.....

Not sure I should post this, but I have 73 developer points left from our buying into DVC. It seems there is no way we can use them. I have already booked 3 nights for us at DL for after the cruise, and I wondered if anyone is interested in doing this too. It would be cheaper than a cash ressie.

What would the cost be for enough points for just 2 nights after the cruise at the resort? Is that what you are asking...if someone wants to purchase your points? I would love to know the cost.

Well our family is cruising with you on this wonderful Panama cruise. We are so excited. I regret however that I have not been able to keep up with this thread. It is a lot different from others I have been on. Not too much cruise talk, and vacation planning going on. We have been really busy getting rental car and hotels lately. I would love to hear from others as to what your plans are. We will be flying in on the 9th. Overnighting at the Sheraton in the Coco Becah Surf company, and then boarding early. After this cruise we are renting from Avis .2 miles from the port, then heading straight to DL for 2 days. Then on to Malibu. Vegas, and finally 1 day in Sonoma and 1 day at pier 39/Alcatraz in San Fran. Then sadly flying home. This will be a wonderful 24 day vacation for us. We are so ready. I went and bought new Mickey luggage, and am getting ready to make the Mickey head paint chips from Home Depot luggage tags. We have designed our door signs and such. I will hopefully be able to print them soon.

I just had a minute to check in and thought I would grab it. I am sorry that I do not get to post much. I try to catch up each day at some point, but I am lost. I see something about lanyards...but again....lost :confused3

Hi there! Welcome! Oh we've done cruise talk over and over, I think we just stared early! I think it will all resume again. We've recently done a lot of excursion talk and now we're on the lanyards. We live in CA so our plans are pretty simple...we have school aged children who are already missing 11 days, so as much as we wanted to get to FL early, it's not possible this time. We're flying in on the 9th, staying at MCO. We have good friends who live in FL that are meeting us for dinner. In the morning we're in the DIS hummerzine off to the port (early). After the cruise we're renting a car and driving home! :sad2: Like I said, simple plans. We're just happy to be on the ship!!

I should clarify.....just so you all don't think I'm ignoring Tyler when we have a chance at an extra day to spend time together. He's SLEEPING AGAIN! I was on here while we had breakfast, then while we ate lunch, and he fell asleep shortly after lunch. Good grief! I've decided that he must be growing AGAIN. He's already starting to outgrow his size 6 stuff, so I guess we need to do some more shopping soon.

I know, I know . . .

You guys in California probably think us folks in Ohio milk our cows every morning before we leave for work.

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I am a native Californian. I was born in Orange. I hope I am nice. I was raised in Montana and California, which gave me an Orygun accent....:rotfl2:

Ah, DrHug, you're more than nice, you're a sweetie!! I love your posts to your sweatheart, MrsMork!

Anyone who shares their Coldwater Creek codes is nice in my book :thumbsup2

I'm calling DCL in a little while to put some money into our onboard account...does anyone have an questions that need answering...I'd be happy to ask them! :thumbsup2

Thank you John. No you didn't miss it. Besides, I am known for having a birthday week:rotfl: Sometime in the not to distant future I may even get to the point where I have a birthday month.:lmao: :lmao:

Hi, my family is interested. We cannot do 03.16.08, ministry keeps us busy Sunday mornings. But we could make the 04.19.08 meeting. I will clear it with the wife later today and then pm you if that is okay.

That's great Joseph-hopefully you guys can come! We're doing the April one also...our boys can meet (if I'm not mistaken they're about the same age...Ryan is 9, 10 in June).

. . . OK, so here's a little about Bob, Bob's stand up is considered one of the bluest (dirtiest) in the business. I think it became even worse as he tried to shed his image of Full House and America's Most Funniest Videos. Off stage he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. After my fire, he gave me his desk (in fact, everyone from Full House supplied me with clothes, linens, furniture, and money.) He said, "Kelly, I wrote some great stuff on this desk for 11 years and now I'm going to pass it on to you to write on." I'm sitting at that desk right now! I heard all about the act from the PC 05 and it didn't sound good, it was the wrong audience for his material. Disney bookers should have known better. Great guy, don't care for his current stand up. He is a wonderful director and won a student academy award. He is extremely smart.
Bob Saget sounds like a really nice guy. Too bad he didn't do a "family" show in the Walt Disney Theatre, and save his "blue" material for the adult shows.

I would love to see DCL get some new entertainers, and change the shows regularly.

Woody

How much can you prepay before boarding? If i wanted to prepay say tips and alittle extra how much do they allow for?

As far as I know you can put whatever amount you want into an onboard account before the cruise. Last cruise I think we put $1500. Although I think prepaying tips is different than prepaying an onboard account...you can do both though.
