To find my place I click on UserCP in the red line across the top, then click on the little blue check mark at the left of the thread name. Takes me to where I left off everytime! :surfweb:

Editing this. The line across the top is blue on the main page, turns red once you get to this thread.???

Holy COW!!! This is as good as tip as the right click mouse "open new window" tip.:cool1:

Great. The Disneyland Half Marathon is fun -- the course goes through Disneyland and DCA. We plan to walk/jog.
Some have expressed interest in walking on sea days on Deck 4 in the morning. Interested? Woody

Woody, I'm so there with you to train, I love listening to books on deck 4 speed walks. I'm an eater, so I have to get out there.
I hear you. We are in training. Yesterday we trained for the cruise by going to a champagne brunch at Marie Calendars. It was delicious!

But we are also in training for the half marathon (and trying to keep the pounds off from the cruise training). On Saturday we went 6.3 miles, and today we went 4.6 miles.

Hope to join you on Deck 4.

Woody

How much can you prepay before boarding? If i wanted to prepay say tips and alittle extra how much do they allow for?

I don't think there is a limit to how much you can put in your on-board account before you go. Then you can use that to pay your tips.

People on the west and east sometimes are confused about the states in the middle:rotfl2:
How's this for a funny addition!

According to this website: www.ipmcenters.org/cropprofiles
the top 5 dairy states were:
1. Wisconsin (big surprise)
2. California (where I hear they're happy)
3. New York (this really did surprise me)
4. Pennsylvania
5. Minnesota
According to this website: www.nass.usda.gov
the top 5 beef cattle producing states were:
1. Texas
2. Kansas
3. Nebraska
4. California
5. Oklahoma
Note all but California are part of the Great Plains States.
Hope this helps.

I do love our Happy Cow commercials. And I see I'm moving up in milking states from PA to CA.

Western NY is lot of farmland. Though I thought PA would beat them.

Thanks...that will be my route. You just saved me a ton of time because 50% of the time, I can't remember what page I left off on! (It's an over 40 thing, I'm sure :rotfl: )

People, people, people.....it's menopause. Or for Capt Spanx and his cohorts andropause.:rotfl2:

I had posted this some time ago from uTube and by the time some of you went to watch it, it was pulled down. It's gone viral on the internet so a lot of you may have seen it, but it not...here it is, I think most moms can relate...."The Momsense Song" by Anite Renfroe (very funny!!)

http://www.sharks-bite.com/momsong.htm

OM my gosh, I've forwarded it to both DD's. What a HOOT

Hey!

We never agreed to this!

I'm outnumbered I tell ya!

Where's Elastoboy?

Drat still not caught up and must get ready for work. Good news is tomorrow is our Meet with the investment guy and then off to pay for the cruise. YAYYYYY:cool1: :cool1: :thumbsup2

Until tomorrow.

Bob Saget sounds like a really nice guy. Too bad he didn't do a "family" show in the Walt Disney Theatre, and save his "blue" material for the adult shows. I would love to see DCL get some new entertainers, and change the shows regularly. Woody

Last year we had Boyz to Men (a really great show, I was very surprised), Ducky Williams (love, love, love him), Joey Fatone and his dance partner (fun.)

Holy COW!!! This is as good as tip as the right click mouse "open new window" tip.:cool1:

Well, I learn something important every day here!!! After years of doing this, you'd think I'd have figured this one out.

Woody

sounds good, will we see you for the Dismeet?

So after watching "Flubber" this morning (Tyler's first time), you should have seen the look on his face when I told him he gets to make his own Flubber while in the cruise! I think I can safely say that's one time I'll definitely get a chance at some free time! :rotfl:

Welcome!!

I see you're in CA too! We're in the San Diego area. Where is Elk Grove?

Did you see the post about 2 DL dismeets coming up?

Lisa we're going to San Diego after the crusie. Have any hints on where to stay or what to do on Sunday? Monday is for Sea world!! Thanks

Nope, sorry.

We left Bethlehem, PA, drove west to Ohio, north through Michigan to Mackanac, west across the upper penninsula of MI, south through Wisconsin to get to Minneapolis-St. Paul to see the Mall of America.

Then north to Hibbing Minnesota to see the iron mines--DH worked for Bethlehem Steel at the time and that was one of their iron mining sites. West through North Dakota, Montana, dipped into Wyoming to see Yellowstone again.

North to Glacier only to discover that the permitted length of vehicles through the park on the Highway to the Sun had been decreased another 12 inches since our research so we had to loop south of the park on Rt, 2. I did the tour-guide thing and named peaks as we went based on glacier patterns. Since we had expected to drive through, we did not have enough time scheduled to camp a day and take the van transport so that was all we saw of Glacier.

Staying north we went through Idaho and into Washington. We stopped at Grand Coulee Dam and went on to Seattle. We ate at a waterfront restaurant and the next day started south. We went to the Aquarium, then south on Redwood Highway to see the TREES!

South to Disneyland a couple days and then east to PA through Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.

In 1986 DH and figured out that if we planned our trips well, we could hit all 48 of the contiguous states before DS#1 was a Senior in High School, so he became a MAN WITH A MISSION.

Jan :earsgirl:

Wow! Now that is an impressive trip!

Thank you Marilyn. We did have a great day at DL. Then dinner at Outback. Yum. Today is my actual birthday.

Everyones birthday wishes mean a great deal to me. This birthday has been somewhat difficult for me as it is the first one without my mom. So thanks to all of you for making my day one filled with love and friendship. :grouphug:

Hi

I wish you a :bday: party:

Scottishwee35:hug: :thumbsup2

:lmao: Marilyn, it is impossible to offend DrHug! In our 40 years I have never known him to be offended. He understands humor! :goodvibes

That's so good!!!!

Sometimes writing on these sites, emails, that kind of thing it is difficult to express things properly because there are no clues in the voice, face or mannerisms. I know on some forums people get offended so easily, and of course I worry about the US/UK differences in speech and sayings.

Although of course it was me who got into trouble that time!!:lmao:

Well Woody, believe it or not, we have gotten that from East Coasters who think Ohio is nothing but farmland. Of course, there is a lot of farmland, but I be CA has more!
Some East Coasters need to get out more.

Woody
