Yes, you're right.....it is major and it's still continuing so that's a good thing....neither one of us has cheated even once. YEAH!!! I have to say that it's getting a little easier too as more time goes on. Angie you were right. I am starting to feel like a non smoker and I'm enjoying it. That's a first! Thank you Monica for all your kind words of encouragement.

It is because neither of you cheated once that you were able to be successful in quiting. I think it must take a whole lot of will power to quit and once you are ready you can apply that to weight loss. You have done a great thing by becoming a non smoker. Keep up the great work! :thumbsup2

Just remember....as a dis'er, you will have the OFFICIAL MINI NAVIGATOR!

IN THE MINI NAVIGATOR THERE WILL BE A LISTING OF ALL THE DISBOARD'ERS AND THEIR STATEROOM NUMBERS. NEXT TO THEIR STATEROOM NUMBER WILL BE A PICTURE OF NEMO IF THEY ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE FISH EXTENDER EXCHANGE

If you use your Mini-Navigator, that will be all that you need to deliver and receive your gifts!!!!!

Sounds like a perfect solution!!!!:thumbsup2

AND I TAKE THE 5TH HERE....YOU DON'T SEE ME IN ANY OF THESE PICTURES. HOWEVER, I BELIEVE IF YOU LOOK AT THE LAST 3 PICTURES, YOU WILL SEE APHOENIX'S WIFE (ADRIENNE), I AM SURE IF YOU ASK HER, SHE COULD TELL YOU HOW TO GET A CHAIR FOR THE PC TRANSIT!!!

OK I am lost what does this mean? :confused3 You swipe chairs from one place and take them to another? You take a chair to your room the night before and emerge in the morning triumphant? :rotfl2:

is it really crazy on transit day? do people get mean and pushy?

I hope not. I am not gonna push people out of the way to see anything but will not be nice if someone pushes my kids. I know I was pissed when she was almost smushed at the Hannah Montana concert outside when Hannah popped outside and that was by adults.

I am also not gonna sleep outside and have heard comments that if you dont run off the ship to Castaway as soon as the ships doors open that others think you do not "deserve" the use of a hammock and will claim "theirs" all day even if not using it. I could care less about hammocks but I hope the same is not true for looking over the railing. I would like a look for a bit but I am not going to stand around for hours and will not hog any spot I am in for sure. That just seems un Disney and un vacation like to me.

There are groups on Passporter and Tagrel, not sure about others.

Our dis thread meet from our Dec cruise had stockings up for gifting, but there were loads of fish extenders out and our Dis group weren't using theirs.

There's only around 4 of us on Tagrel on this cruise :thumbsup2

Come to the NanVeranda...all are welcome...bring smarties or be a smarty pants..

YES, DECK 10 FORWARD, MEAN AND PUSHY!

Deck 10 forward-people slept out all night in lounge chairs. Around 4 a.m. the lounge chairs started clearing out, deck 10 forward was STANDING ROOM ONLY, NO CHAIRS. People were there by 5 a.m. and it was PACKED!

Deck 10 midship-more casual, same with deck 9. Just remember, EVERYONE was out for the first locks, then it settled down because it is a slow process going through the locks. Deck 4 is also a great place to be because you can get some shade and also the verandahs. Alot of people headed off to breakfast after we actually got into the locks.

Also, DCL put up a big white tent cover over the basketball courts on deck 10 so there was shade at the front of the ship, but if you were in front of the forward wind shield glass thingy, there was no shade but it was 5-10 people deep everywhere trying to take pictures. It settled down once we got through the first locks.

After that people were spread out everywhere all day on the ship so then it became easier to get around. Just remember not to "Throw" Disney soaps, shampoos, conditioners, etc., off the ship to the transit workers. People were throwing them off giving them "gifts" and the Captain made an announcement to please not throw things off. I guess the cruise ship can get fined by the PC Transit Authority if guests are "littering" as they go through......not that we threw any gifts off to any of the workers or anything. :confused3

Oh great mean and pushy! Not what I wanted to hear. :sad2:

Is that the highlight when you start entering the first locks?:confused3 DH and I will have to sacrifice and get up early then ...we are NOT morning people and hoping to sleep in most if not all of our days on the Magic:thumbsup2

Yes I would like to know are the first locks somehow better then the second or do they do anything special for the ship?

seems some karma hit Paul and Wilson, his engine fouled and he lost his spot, when from 2nd down to 8th in his qualifying race. hmmmm...should have gone to the baseball game me thinks...:rolleyes1 I better get the gloating out of my system, huh?

Ahh poor guy that sucks but things do happen like that to everyone from time to time. :flower3:

Hi everybody, driving down to WDW. We left DC at 9am and we are coming into GA now. It is me, my two DD's Annie and Gretchen, Vanessa and her sister Rebecca from Norway. We picked Rebecca up at the airport yesterday. Vanessa has been driving through all of SC. Don, DH, stayed home for a week of peace and quite. His dad came home from the hospital yesterday and went right to his brothers house for the week.

I am so happy and excited! The weather is supposed to be wonderful!

ROADTRIP! I love roadtrips. Have fun at the World and take some pics for us! :thumbsup2

Thanks Kelly, I received the package and I really do appreciate you sending it my way. It was kind of you to do so. Let the planning begin.

A few questions about the parks at the Disneyland Resort for those in the know. Thanks ever so much for your answers.

At Disneyland, what kind of shows do they have at the Hollywood Backlot Stage?

At Disneyland, what is Big Thunder Ranch?

At California Adventure, Is the Playhouse Disney more for small children or would an adult enjoy it?

At California Adventure, is Monsters Inc. some type of ride?

Hollywood Backlat had an animator themed show last I saw.

Big Thunder Ranch is currently a petting zoo and place for the kids to color. Based on Home on the Range (I think - never saw the movie).

Playhouse Disney is cute once for adults. Though it is currently closed while they cahnge out the characters so not sure if we will know the new ones. Old show had Bear in the Big Blue House, Winnie the Pooh, Stanley, and 1 other I can't think of.

Monsters, Inc is a ride. Cute, similiar to the Winnie the Pooh type rides.

Hope this helps.

Have a get lost plan (that sounded funny huh?) if someone gets lost from the other, met at a certain location on the hour or half hour or have drink and forget about it.... BTW, I hate being lost from my group. As a kid I clung to my mom to avoid this. To this day I freak when I loose the kids or Paul, even out of eyesite, just makes me crazy.

I hate to loose sight of my group too. :scared1:

Props to you Lisa!!You are doing an awesome job with sorting the list. You have a couple DOD comin' to you from Bubba and I. Thanks for all your Hard work.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

With all the drinks we owe her...she will be feeling just FINE on this trip!!! :goodvibes

OK I am lost what does this mean? :confused3 You swipe chairs from one place and take them to another? You take a chair to your room the night before and emerge in the morning triumphant? :rotfl2:

I think we should play chair tag... take a chair and pass it along until the chair gets back to the original person... :rotfl2:

Come to the NanVeranda...all are welcome...bring smarties or be a smarty pants..

& when you are done visiting with Nan.. You can come to ours... if we ever get one... but you can come to my lifeboat if not... I hear good views from there too!!!

Self quote...I'm back.

Booked our room at Paradise Pier, eek $260 a night I miss the old days :sad2: They also asked for a deposit, just started that last Monday :sad2: cancellations 5 days out (used to be 24 hours) :sad2: Oh well, it's my bday and I'm at Disneyland

Booked Napa Rose On MARCH 30th @ 6:30pm for a party of 4. I figured if someone wants to join us great, if not we can pair it down, but not as easy to grow it from 2. PM me if anyone wants to join us for dinner.

Marr, we need to Tawk Turkey...interested in another wonder day/night with us??? I told my sis our plans and she was all over it and asked if we could make the same for us this time. Of course...the numbers have to work...

ok, back to reading...

Wow deposits and cancellations five days out!

Ok...at the risk of sounding dumb, what is the passporter?

And, Kelly, do you have a suggestion of where to stay and/or a character or fun meal place at DL? We will only be there Sunday and Monday, post-cruise.
There are 6 of us (that's probably important for rooming).

Thanks, Deanna

I'm not Kelly but we love the Storyteller's Chip & Dale Breakfast for the food and Goofy's Kitchen Breakfast for the characters.

We like the Disneyland Hotel the best of the three on property hotels.
