just to let everyone know - hubby made it home safe and sound - but that means less time here and we leave in 2 days - I have a lot to do - I am waiting on one person to answer a PM from me and then I will be ready to send out the postcard list - if you leave before I print them - I will have sheets that I will deliver the first day to each cabin participating so you can deliver - we are still on track with 25 cards.

Hello all! Wow thread 15? I think I missed a lot of 14. Been a busy weekend. Got the garden done yesterday so all the money I gave to Burpee won't go to waste!

Riding up the Jersey Turnpike right now--should I be waving at anyone?? I'm on a bus and it has free Internet. Just going up to have lunch w/a friend and do a little shopping. Our birthday (same day) was last week so we're celebrating! This is the best $15 I ever spent!

Also, I have written down somewhere how people can email me on the ship. I'll have to find it and post. It doesn't cost them anything to email me, it just costs me $3.75 I think if I email them back. That is how my daughter keeps in contact with me on the ship when i am cruising and my cell phone is out of range. The only thing I am charged for is the time to read the email.

I wish I was!! Assuming you meant in the Port area, we stayed there before, it's nice. At least the room was, I don't remember much else! We are further down at the Comfort Inn/Suites. I just Hotwired it...figured for the 8hrs or so we will be in the room it should be livable.

We rented a car from Budget which we've done before. We'll drop off with them and then shuttle over to the port. Hope the line for the budget shuttle isn't too long. Last time we did this we were traveling with 9 people so 2 people makes it a lot easier!

Yes, and there is a group get together planned around the pool area and BBQ pit at some time that evening. Karen and Alex have the details, you can PM Karen at CruzdirectorKaren for the details cuz she has done all the work on it I believe. I just know that I am showing up when I arrive from the airport Friday!
