I had a text message from Tammy and she and the kids are still surviving DL. I think they go home on Saturday!!
Aw, thanks.Holly, glad to have met you and Tyler. We always got to see the good side so find it hard to believe he could be such a monster. You were amazing with him. Glad to hear that his father is finally on board and help is on the way. He is really a great kid.
Lisa, I'm sorry to hear about your mom's condition. How awful.I took my mom to the doctor today. As you all know I had my brother taking care of her while I was gone. I take her to the doctor every 6 weeks. Since her last appointment, she has lost 10 pounds....from 98 pounds to 88 pounds. I don't know if they didn't feed mom or if she was just being "mom" and didn't eat for them.
I fix her specail meals for all three meals everyday. I think they expected her to eat whatever they were eating and I don't think she liked that.
Her doctor was livid. She can't live very long at 88 pounds...I have to weigh her everyday now. He wats to know if she even losses 1 more pound. The did a complete CBC and I have to schedule a colonoscomy (sp??) and a few other tests.
The pain she is experiencing is terrible and the doctor explained what ever muscle she had is now gone and the joints have nothing to rub against. It will only continue to get worse.
I just get Frank pretty well and now mom falls apart. One more time I will say "geting old is hell".....
One more time I will say "geting old is hell".....
Great news about the credit Lisa! I can't imagine how noisy it must have been for you. Not good.![]()
One day I wanted to take a nap and I noticed it was really quite. I opened the door and the laundry was closed.....due to repairs. It was a great nap!!
We might have to rent a ship to accommodate everyone. Tyler can be our ring bearer.
[One of my favorite moments, out of a few hundred, is you Holly, standing outside your stateroom. You said that it was a "Mommy timeout."]
I can't imagine what you will wear on that day![]()
You had Mario, right??? Thats why! He was cool!!!
I wish we could have spent time in DL, but it just wasn't in the cards. Maybe sometime later this or early next year we'll some of of our DVC points and get out there and stay at the Grand Californian.
Jill ---- do you have any Mickey bars left?
Yes, we had Mario. He was incredible. The best steward we've had on a cruise. Not only was he quite free with the tubes of goodies, he was fretting over me the fist day I got sick and spent a few hours napping in the room because I was so out of it.
Mario was really great.
(we had quite a line up in those rooms in that corridor)
Did anyone go outside to Ballroom Under The Stars? I never made it. What was it like? Seems to me it was chilly and windy that night.
I am very happy to report the Mickey bars made it home, except a few that I ate on the plane. I plan to have one for breakfast in the morning since its the only food in the house. You should have seen the look on my mom and sistes face when they opened the bag full of Mickey bars while going through my souveniers (no they didn't get one).![]()
you sneaked them thru customs????
Wrong kind of Mickey Bar I don't like that kind. I LOVE the rice crispy treat kind, so Sukie and Ian gathered me a bag of them. I had no problem traveling with them, since they are individually wrapped (I asked before I got off the ship).

your kidding me, we could get those on the ship??? for free???? ok I need to cruise again.
please stop talking about food, my room service button broke already, I tried to get Paul to pick up a BLT on his way home from getting Molly at play practice and he told me no. Darn it. I had the $1 ready and everything![]()
Cheri??? Were you near me on embarkation? That looks like my same shot!! Very cool!
