Wide variety of topics tonight.

Dirty Dancing, loved it, had both records from the movie. Put a record on and dance on the piano bench - it made a great stage for the performances.

Wore leg warmers in winter (look cool and be warm - fantastic winter fad!)

Nobody mentioned the classic movies "goonies" and "lost boys". I wanted to be a goonie and it had cindy lauper music. Can't beat "girls just wanna have fun" for a great fun song. Our budgie back then loved Cindy Lauper, turn her record on and that bird would dance but only to Cindy.

I love Dirty Dancing....and really, looking back, I had no CLUE what any of it meant. I think this was when I first went to live with my mom - 8-9 grade maybe? I watched it and all I saw was dancing...

I think my last concert was the Stones too. In Tacoma. They were great. It was Cheryl Crow that sucked!..

Our opening act was Alice Cooper! Were they throwing him a bone because the concert was in Phoenix?

I don't know...we were in the Phoenix Cardinals arena, a huge place and we didn't have such bad seats but they were still little specks. Maybe I was just grumpy that night but truthfully, I was disappointed.

Speaking of not knowing what you're watching. I was about 8 when my Aunt rented "Best Little *****house in Texas". My sister and I loved it, singing, dancing and fancy clothes - my Aunt's jaw dropped when after watching it, my sister and I both wanted to do that when we grow up. Still love the movie, but don't see it as a career option anymore

I was not allowed to date or wear makeup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, in 10th grade, I was allowed a date or two...MEANING said date could come to my performance and bring flowers..
