PALO QUESTION:
Did anyone book brunch on Canal day? I know they offered tea that day, but did they offer brunch?

When I talked to the Palo lady on Monday, she said there were only eight sea day options for brunch...with Canal day there would be nine. (It could be that they offer brunch, but do not have the private room available...what with special guest etc.)

Mr. McAlpin can just take his croissant and sit out on Deck 10 with the rest of us!!!!

I thought I might be able to squeeze it into the overhead bin.

I fully understand about the needles! I start crying in the shower before I go to the Dr, all the way there and continue through the entire appointment. When it comes time to take blood, 1 nurse holds 1 arm, another nurse holds the other arm and 1 nurse holds my legs because I am shaking so much that my whole body is moving. One time some OLD man in the waiting room got up and came in and started patting my head and telling me it would be ok. They love seeing me come!

I'm packed except now I am rethinking my packing since there is no room to buy anything and bring home. maybe just take a duffle bag with our phones and ipods in it. Then we'll have a little room!

I get the pain part DEFINATELY... Anyone have an EMG??? Needles and electricity... mine take 4+ hours starting at my fingertips and going right up to the spine on both sides... I'VE HAD 12 OF THEM... But I do biofeedback and I concentrate all of my thoughts down to, believe it or not...my knees... I put all my feeling down there... breath and then they can shock me... it still hurts but not as much...

OK, any New Yorkers here old enough to remember the Schaeffer Music Festival in Central Park? They ran all summer. Tickets were, $2 and $4.

I saw groups like, Canned Heat, The Kinks, and yes, even Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show.

hate to hold babies, never have liked to. I think I babysat my nephews too much as a teenager. I worked full time (at home) and had a nanny when the kids were babies so I didn't have to do that stuff. breastfeeding was my only thing. now they are great, loved them from about 2 years old and on, actually earlier, when they can talk I like them.
