Mask ear protectors for long flights?

Can't say how much I totally LOVE this idea, so cute, what sort of clasp is going on the glasses?
If you enlarge the top photo (the Mickey head ear savers), you can see the back of the Mickey (at the top of the photo) has a clear/white-ish ring. That ring is made of silicon and has a slot cut into it. Your glasses arm slips through the slots, sandwiched between the 2 layers of silicon. It is a secure grip. Easy to put on, easy to take off.
And that shop is great. I've always received very good service.

Not sure if already mentioned, but I foudn putting the mask band over the airline headphones earpiece made a big difference. This are bose business class headsets, but if you wear any headphones with ear pieces ( beats etc..) those work too

I was looking and trying to figure that out and was worried it would be a clip that could slice my glasses or might not fit the shape. Thanks for explaining!

Hard to say. I found this article interesting. People are vaccinated, and some are testing at home and many not reporting positive tests. But tests of sewage show covid in California is as high as it ever has been. https://www.sacbee.com/news/coronavirus/article263044553.html
I'm not surprised. COVID is here to stay. Thankfully cases are milder. Many do not test unless their is a need to treat. We have more therapeutics to treat the virus anda better outcomes. I have an 85 year old relative with congestive heart failure, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, dementia, etc. She had a fall and was transported to a nearby hospital. Tested negative upon arrival but upon release to a rehab facility a week later....positive. They'd contracted COVID in the hospital. Would have never known if not for a mandatory test. Symtoms were very mild....sniffles and fatigue. This was prior to Omicron. Meanwhile a healthy vaccinated and faithfully masked friend in their late forties succumbed to the virus. Only two examples of many but as I said.. no rhyme of reason.

My former supervisor lost 6 family members. 5 of them apparently exposed at the funeral for the first. All before vaccines. All in their 60's. None with any known health issues. So sad. Her mom got it after being vaccinated, and never got deathly ill, but a year later still has mild long covid (cut her lung capacity).

This is true, for Covid, but they do still protect you from all the other nasty bugs around by simply stopping your from touching your face so often…

N95 for Covid is the way to go.
I wlll be wearing one for our flight. I am in the medical profession and I can tell you in our area, people are getting sick in big numbers again. Not like last year, and the k god not to the severity of affecting hospital admissions, but definetly “sick” that you would/should have to cancel your vacation plans….

Yes, unfortunately true. We’re traveling this week…first flights since the pandemic. We’re going with KF94s….good seal and we both feel we can wear for extended period of time. We have good KN95s that are also good…so still deciding between the two. Lots of Covid out there now..and BA-5 can potentially be a vacation killer.
