Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker question

I am considering buying one does anyone have any reviews? Should I buy one? NO? etc. I am looking at the Key West one

I have used the $300 model (not sure its name) extensively and it works fabulous. It is very loud, so it won't be a very good morning smoothie maker if you have people sleeping in the house, but it makes perfectly wonderful margarita's, colada's and smoothies if no one is bothered by the noise.

The ice is crushed evenly so you get a slushy, no chunks drink everytime. The one I use is about a year and a half old and still works perfect.

$300? Yikes.

We just buy the $8 bucket mixes, add the alcohol and water then freeze them the night before. An ice cream scoop doles out the icy goodness.

Best part? Nothing to wash (except the scoop) and nothing bulky to store.

ITA yikes! Thats why I want some imput. I fell in love with a wildberry Daquari and now I want to make them at home. I think this frozen concoction maker would make great drinks. I just want to make sure.

I just bought the $300 one also. It was the "Today's Special Value" on QVC a few weeks back so got it for about $219. I was so excited when it showed up. So, I went and got all the stuff to make Strawberry Colada's and Mudslides. First time trying it they turned out great. I was so proud of myself (not very good in the kitchen). We had a mini party with the neighbors - they were impressed also.

I also went and bought snow-cone cups for the kids and 4 different flavor syrups and my kids just love this. It makes great snow -cones.

So, far I am very happy with my purchase. It will be great to have when we are sitting on the deck (if it would stop raining long enough to do so).

It is expensive, but so much better than a regular blender.

I too have have the Key West model.
I love it! My DH begs for smoothies and slushies ALL the time. I think that thing has been used at least 25 times in the last 30 days.

I tried to get one on Houseparty but wasn't one of the lucky ones thank you so much for the code I just looked on their website and it would be $249.00 and you get the salt dipper thingy free with free shipping.

Our Costco only has the Bahamas one for $174.00 it does come with the travel bag but I am thinking that I want the Key West one just because you can pick how many drinks to make.
