I only caught the extended highlights, but the US was a little lucky to get the win. Uzbekistan had a shot hit the crossbar and a few crosses go clean across in very dangerous territory.

The lack of preseason affected the European based players. They will play better on Tuesday against Oman. We rarely play Asian teams, so it is just a new experience for some of them. Expect a better showing in the next match. We are ranked number 11 in the world for a reason. We play Germany and Ghana next month as well. Those matches will be the real test and our players will be back in form.
