We are from Tulsa area too. We are in Bixby. I have a daughter that just turned 13 this week and son that is 9. There is another family from Tulsa that has been on the boards. Looks like we have quite a group coming from Oklahoma as well.

Wanted to reveal our Oklahoma connection too. We no longer live in Tulsa..live in Dallas Fort Worth. However, prior to moving here we worked in Tulsa and lived in Broken Arrow. Love Green Country!

You are welcome! Yep, ealier in the week I was worrying a lot about it, thinking I might should cancel. Glad I called the tour operator. She was very helpful. It is still tighter than I prefer... but am keeping the ressie and think it will all work out fine.

I have been busy tonight! My friend and one of my agents lives in the area so she found hotel rooms for Fri and Sat, cheap and clean and close to DL. I ordered the World of Color picnic sets for Friday night for the 10:15 PM show, and also booked a hotel right by Kodak Theater in LA for Sunday night with really good reviews for only $100 including taxes. My plan is to mosey off the ship on Sunday, and explore the area in LA, the wax museum, the stars on the sidewalk, that kind of thing. I've done it before years ago but the kids will get a kick out of it. We'll have Sunday and Monday in LA and we leave on a 4 PM flight. I saved over $500 flying on Monday rather than Sunday, I'd rather spend that somewhere fun, like LA!

So have we figured out somewhere to meet in DL on Saturday? Or is that not a go? I have a bunch of clients there so I think I'll make a spot up anyway.

Plus I'm almost finished with my FE gifts...they take a while to make, both the adult gifts and the kid gifts...but they are turning out so cute! Bedtime...

What kind did you order? I orderd the European one for me, the All American for DD16, and the chicken kid boxes for the other three. My friend who lives in San Diego and goes all the time (she'll be meeting us there) said they are good and it is a good value especially because of the seating. I'll PM you my number! She is not going with me because her kiddos crash early mine are nuts, they'll be good to go until midnight. Maybe we can meet and sit together!

Okay, executive decision. Lets meet at Pirates at 2 PM?? Okay with everyone? If anyone is going and wants my number to text when you are there just PM me. I have long red hair (can't let go of the high school length, although I did stop teasing it to massive heights in the early nineties), and I'll be "that" mom with the four unruly kids. Just kidding, they are sweet. My three girls are as pale as me (think fish belly and you are on the right track, although my oldest is trying to convince me that the two of us should spray tan) and the one boy that never gets a word in.

Can't wait! I separated all my FE stuff tonight, and I'm almost done with the kid gifts (I can only make 6 at a time and it is a several step process). I also made some fun

We are also going to Hollywood on Sunday. We have reservations at the Radisson at LAX for Sunday night. Our return flight is at 7:25am Monday morning. We want to sightsee on Sunday. Really don't know what to do. I would LOVE to do the wax museum. The dd's want to see the Hollywood sign!

The wax museum seems cool because you can pose for pictures in the scenes, and you can also see the Hollywood sign around there...not up close though. Not sure that we'll do that...from a distance is okay We want to see some stars on the sidewalk, and Grauman, and Kodak. I'd love to go to Venice Beach but not sure that is in the cards, I won't have a car. I also saw a tour I thought would be really cool...sort of a "here is where Marilyn and Sharon Tate died" and graves and stuff (I know, I know...weird) but the five year old would probably not dig that.

Those are the things my dd's want to do also. I don't know how we will do it yet. I won't have a car, but there is a car rental place at the Radisson. They want to see the Stars & Grauman also. I guess when we check in at the hotel we can ask how to do it!!

That is so cool. Small world We have been here for about 4 1/2 years. Prior to that we were in the Houston area. We almost moved to the Dallas area last year but my husband took a new job in the area. We are enjoying it here in Green Country.

We ordered ours last weekend because we are going on the 12th. I was worried they would sell out so I am glad they are still available as your window has yet to open.


We will probably hand out our FE Gifts fairly early too because they can be used right away.

The dollar stores have all their St. Patrick's day stuff out, we bought a few shimmery shamrocks for our door and some pot of gold socks for DS.
