March 13th 2011 Fiesta time on the Wonder!

How did you decide to go to the main office? We were told to book college disco.

College disco is closer to the port. But it is further from the office, in the opposite direction. Meaning, we would take a 5-10 min cab ride east, to get to the disco then get on the bus going west to the office.

Or , hop in a taxi going west. Longer taxi ride, by 5 mins or so . I thought it was easier. I read on cruise critic to do it that way. Just our choice. ( not necessarily the best for everyone.)

All stops meet at the office. That was the info I was told.

I haven't booked it yet as I wasn't sure of our port times. I sent an email to the Bucanner Queen though inquiring of availability. I wonder if DCL is using the same company for their pirate excursion. You actually booked it already? What was your day & time? That is neat.

Hello! Yes we booked it for Tuesday but your supposed to be there by 8:30am and its looking as tho we dont even dock till 11:15 am so this poses a problem. We will be rebooking it for Friday looks like - we will call Disney and verify the port times and then call them to reschedule with Kraken. Bummer!! It will all work out - I am sure!!

In other words if we are getting there at 7:30 according to Disney, is that the same time as PV? That could change some things too. I cannot wait until this first group that left today gets back so they can help answer some of these questions.

I think we may have the same flight to LAX. We are on flight 0146 departing at 4:50pm, arriving at 6:30. For the flight home, we have a later one, leaving at 6:20pm.
We haven't booked anything for Cabo yet... but in PV we are doing the Las Caletas excursion through DCL... What day of the week works best for all of you to get together? Talk to you soon!!!

Were on the same flights going to LAX and back to KC!! What are you all doing with your time from off the ship to getting back on the plane to KC? Were throwing around renting a car for Sunday and returning it at the airport...who knows at this point! Our best days are any for the most part. Wednesday evenings are good, Fridays and the weekends are good. The only weekend we have plans coming up is Feb 5th. We are going to have to re-book our whale watching in Cabo on Tuesday due to the fact we now are not getting in till 11:15am and you have to be at Kracken by 9. Ugh- so much for being on the ball!! We are going to look into the Las Calentas for PV.
Hope to hear back from you soon too!! Getting excited! Found a Mickey Mouse tye dye project on the board and am going to make tye dye shirts and dresses for the family!! DH not too excited about this but I will be talking him into it! He He!

So are we thinking that we will all be in the same group even if our pick up is different spots? In our group there is 6 yo girl, 7yo girl, 2 10 yo girls, 12 yo girl, 13 yo girl and 14 or 15 yo boy along with all of us parents.

At this rate we should have all booked together and got a 25% discount for ziplining! We do want to hang out at the rocks and swim by the restaurant. This was one of the pluses. I have ziplined before in Cancun and it took a lot of energy and work(hiking the towers). Others in our party including my kids have never went!

I want to get it booked soon as well. The only thing I had booked before was for Mazatlan and it gave me comfort to know it was booked. Oh well, plans change. I am not sure what we are going to do in Cabo. That was the one port I could not find a definite excursion I knew we would want to do. I am thinking we might book the ATV/horse back riding combo. I am worried about the time issue though. The times are 9:00am, 12:00pm and 3:00pm. It last 3.5 hours so the 3:00pm is out. I am going to check with the company if they think we can make the 12:00pm on Tuesday. I have the Pirate Snokel Adventure booked through DCL but think I might cancel. I think it will still be too cold to snorkel and my kids do not do well in cold water. I would like to do the whale watching but my DH is not too interested in that.
I thought the same thing about booking as a group since there are so many of us. Maybe if son3disfan (sorry I do not know names) changes locations we can try to book it as a group and get the 25% off. I am excited about all the kids as well. Our other Disney cruise we were with family so my kids had their cousins along with them. This time it is just the 2 of them so I am hoping they make some friends soon.
My DH and I zip lined in Belize about 5 years ago. It was scary but very exciting at the same time. The kids have done small zip lines at camps but nothing like what we are about to do.

Also for those who booked Las Caletas...I have been there before and it is really great. They have a nice wooden platform that is out in the water and the kids love jumping off of it. The food was good and my friend got a great (very cheap) massage there. I relaxed in a hamock and it was very preaceful. It is not open to the public either so you feel like you are on a private island. If you have any questions please ask...

Are we going to be able to do an Arizona pre cruise meet??

I will let you know if we cancel. It was not showing as sold out when I looked at the excursions this morning. Do you have a large party and there were not enough spaces? We would be a family of 4 canceling with 2 adults and DS9 and DD13.

Yay!!! How fun We can sit together for the flights!!! We are also thinking about renting a car... I heard there is an Enterpise counter at the Crowne Plaza, I will have to see how much it costs for a one-way rental. I was also thinking about maybe looking at a tour with airport drop-off... (I don't even know if there is such a thing, but it might be worth looking into) Maybe for getting together, a Sunday afternoon would work best. I need to check with Denise and see if they can meet up, too... Denise, are you reading this???

What is going to happen to it now with the ship leaving at 1:30? It's not even showing up as an option for Cabo anymore? I can't even begin to state how disappointed my 5 year old will be if that just get cancelled.

Hey AZPirate, I booked the same excursion for my DD7 at the same time...and I was wondering the same thing!!! That was the one thing in Cabo we had our heart set on doing...so if we can't do it that day I hope we can switch it to the first Cabo day (which is another story becuase we have Palo Brunch booked on the 15th which was originally a sea day...not sure what will happen with that now!)

I would hope that when DCL made the change they had a good plan in place to modify excursions and that this decision wasn't just a knee jerk, let's figure it out later kind of thing. It would be great if they were to move the affected excursions to the 15th but at this point, I imagine they have a lot of other thingsthey are dealing with. I guess it's time to let my TA earn her pay.

We have 2 adults and 1 child (11 that I think Disney classifies as an adult). I went on just now to our cruising plans on DCL and it still says reservations not available. I am looking at the Pirate Snorkel and Treasure Hunt on the Disney website. Where did you see that it was still available?

Does anyone know when they are going to list our stuff for the second day in Cabo?

Yeah - it looks quite fun - and the price is very reasonable. I am not certain, but it appears we just meet the crew right there at the dock once we tender in. The port at Cabo is not very large, so it should be an easy walk I hope!
