We are planning on making door signs. I have gotten some ideas from the boards here. People are really nice about sharing for those like me who are not so gifted in the creativity department. I am having my niece come over next weekend and help me create them all in Photoshop and have them ready to go. I was told to use the strip of magnetic tape rather than the magnetic paper. Mickey and JoshNut...Do you find that the actual paper works better? We are also making some pillow cases to turn in at the desk for signatures. Have read many people's comments on that and one lady posted a photo of hers and it was beautiful. I think that will be a nice little souvenir for my DD and DS.

I just find that the magnetic sheets completely stick to the door so it usually doesn't move for the entire cruise.....

We too have done the pillowcases and they do turn out really cool...I have them as display pillows on the sofa in our family room...of course they get removed when anyone tries to lean on them!!!!!!!

In 3 weeks we will be enjoying the glorious heat and of Florida and the Caribbean...right now it is 8ºF with a wind-chill of -13ºF here!!!

I happen to be spending the weekend in Fort Lauderdale - and if this weather doesn't make you want to cruise - I don't know what does!

We are dropping my parents off at their ship tomorrow - Holland America - and it just adds to the anticipation!! woo-hoo.... We will be seated at our early seating - hopefully enjoying some delightful dessert - three weeks from right now!!!

Man I am sooo bummed! My girlfriend just emailed me to say that they got their documents, but we dont' have ours yet!!! They just booked a few months ago and week booked our rooms last year! Please tell me I am not the only one who hasn't gotten their docs yet. I don't know if UPS will be running tomorrow with the holiday and all, but I am off of work so if they are, I am staying here all day to see if they come!!!!

What happens if you don't get yours for some reason??? When do you call and request them?

Last week a friend went on a cruise with another cruise line, they stopped @ Cozumel. When I asked what repairs had been made she showed me these photo's:

Did you book the same way as your friend? I booked through Costco and i know that my docs need to go all the way to them in WAshinton state and then to me here in VA. Oh well. Docs or no Docs..... IM GETTIN' ON THAT BOAT!!

Actually, I booked while I was on board last year. She booked through the disney cruise line website. So I hope to get mine soon!

Anyone watch Lost or Grey's Anatomy? I am addicted to both and glad I have Tivo so I don't have to miss them while we are gone!

Whooo - 13 more working days for me since I have today off and we are leaving on the 10th! Woo hoo! My hubby just informed me he didn't take that Friday off and he doesn't have any vacation time accrued! Haha, too bad for him!

We had some horrible hail here on Friday. If I knew how to attach a photo, I would. I have always heard about "golf ball sized" hail, but never believed it was real. Until now!

I still only have docs for 1 room, not the other. Booked both the same way (onboard, switched to DU). So far only DH & FIL get to go! We booked the rooms funny because DH & I each booked a room onboard not knowing who else would be going with us.

YIKES! I really wanted to go to Cozumel, but those pictures convinced me it's better to go somewhere else.

Mortlives - I think the GPS idea is cool. We don't have one, but if we did I would bring it. Do I remember corectly that there is a TV channel that shows where we are on a chart?

kcarl021 - I love Grey's Anatomy - missed it last night because I love Olympic ice dancing more. I will be Tivo-ing Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, West Wing (been going downhill, but I'm going to see it through to the end) & the new Project Runway-like show with the Chefs. OH, and the Apprentice. Yeah - I watch too much TV, I'll admit it. Of coures if you've been following this board for a while you know it is strictly for academic purposes!

Tee hee! We are on the same TV watching schedule I think! Grey's this week was good, but I don't think anything can compare with the Superbowl episodes. I watch a lot too (Grey's, Desperate Housewives, My Name is Earl, the Office, How I met your Mother, Lost, American Idol, Entourage, used to watch Arrested Developement *sigh*) but I think TIVO does that to you! I LOVE TIVO!! I've been watching most of the Olymipcs on my OnDemand through cable. It's getting to the point where I NEVER watch live TV anymore!

Oh, I found a rolling soft sided cooler at Walmart today. It was less than $20 and holds 32 cans. I guess that will get me through one day, at least until we hit Key west and I can get more beer!

Just got the quote on the hail damages - $3500. Eeks! Was hoping to avoid the insurance headache, but not at that price!

It's going on 2:00 and no UPS today. Maybe they are closed. Boo hoo!
