Ok since I finally figured out how to post photos (duh!) Let's see some stateroom door signs!

I have three rooms so here are my three signs!

Mortlives - We're bringing a GPS onboard. DH just got it and is obsessed.

Kcarl021 - Great door signs. I need to get working on pillowcases. I've got a great design from someone on the DIS boards. Sorry, I can't remember where I got it to give proper credit. Anyway, just need to figure out how to run the transfer paper thru the computer and iron it on, etc. I'm definitely not the crafty type.

Whoo-hoo! UPS guy just showed up while I was typing this. We've got docs.

Argh! I am really getting frustrated! My door bell rang and it was the UPS guy. I was so excited I told him "I have been waiting for you all day long!!!" Turns out it was some free shampoo someone wanted me to sample!!!!!

Anyway, just need to figure out how to run the transfer paper thru the computer and iron it on, etc. I'm definitely not the crafty type.

A lot of the transfers have different instructions...so make sure you follow the ones specifically for the transfers you are using....If you are using Avery Ink Jet T-Shirt Transfers for light coloured t-shirts I may be able to help you out. I have done a few t-shirts in my past.

Got my second set of docs yesterday! (Monday).

I also started pre-packing. Moved all the sundresses I plan to pack to 1 part of my closet. I really have a ridiculous number of sundresses for someone who lives in Alaska! Still need to try on shorts...hmmm...not looking forward to that! Next weekend I'll start making piles on the guestroom bed.

The next 2 weeks of work are going to be pretty stressful. Can't I just leave NOW???

I just got ours.

One thing I'm confused about: the Bahamian customs forms. Is that because the ships registry is Bahamas? In that case, are we supposed to say we're staying in the Bahamas and give the Magic as our hotel?

Castaway Cay is technically The Bahamas.

In this case, my hotel would be the 17th hammock on the left!

Did anyone notice that they have changed the DCL web site?

You can fill out most of your forms online and you only have to print out 1 form and take it with you.

I saw that too Elaine. I tried to use it and got error messages!
Ill keep trying. I think we are gonna do the Atlantis sub @ Grand Cayman. Ds9 really wants to do that.

Glad to see you are all slowly but surely getting your docs! That Bahamas immigration form is the most confusing thing ever... Even after all the cruises I've taken I can never remember how they want it filled out. I just fill out what I know and save the rest for when I'm at the terminal and ask... "What the heck am I supposed to put on here!!"

I'll have to check out the online forms. I printed them a week or so ago before I got my actual docs and didn't see anything about filling them out online. I love how Disney does this stuff and doesn't tell anyone!!!

Yippee!!!! Only 10 more days of work!!!! Unless I develop a *cough* *cough* that will require a few days rest before my big trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I remember how to fill these out, but, I also think that if you are taking DCL transfer, the first video on the bus tells you how to fill them out. I believe the arriving by is "other ship" and the city where you board is Cape Canaveral (there is some abbreviation acceptable for this, I don't remember what it is though.) The hotel is DCL. I can't remember when we have to turn them in, but they will walk you through it all...

BTW, we got our documents!!! Finally! Now I have to deal with the "mother" drama. "What are we doing again? What excursions did we book? What time are we leaving? What do you mean we might not eat until 8:30? I can only take how many bags? How long is our wait at the airport?" etc. etc.

Sometimes being the "family travel agent" is no picnic!!!

Hey Kcarl, I thought you guys were getting married on the ship?!! I didnt dare ask because you didnt mention it for awhile and you never know.

Congratulations. You were a beautiful bride! I cant wait to meet all of you now! It is jusst around the corner! When i see pix, it makes it all the more real to put pics on the names. Make any sense? Whatever, its early!

We got our docs yesterday. When I got home from work, they had been left on the porch. Went through everything last night and it made it seem even more real! I have just been so busy at work that it makes it tough to have time to even think about it! I am ready for the Magic to take me away!

My niece is coming over this weekend and helping me finish up signs for the doors and I have been working on getting the t-shirts all made and ready. I need to start packing, but that hasn't happened yet!

Very nice pictures KC. You made a beautiful bride and I know exactly what you mean about the family planning. We normally travel with my MIL, who I love dearly, but she can be a real challenge. My kids are so bummed that she isn't going with us. I am a little sad too. She is nice to have as company. I definitely got lucky in the husband and MIL category.

I have to learn how to post a picture and then I will try to put one on there of our family. I have some on this computer that we took last time we were at WDW. I will try to look into it today if I get time here at work.

Looking forward to meeting everyone. We are flying in on the 10th and staying at the Hyatt. See you on Deck 10 at 5:00pm.

By the way, i did watch Greys Anatomy Sunday. Man, i thought Mcdreamy was hot. No wonder Addison hooked up with McSteamy. Yummy! He kind of looks like an older Leonardo DiCaprio. I really watch too much tv. Thank goodness for DVRs. I HAVE to make sure 24 is recorded every week. That is definately my favorite show, ever!

Jennifer I thought the same thing!! I kept looking at him and thinking ... who the heck is that??? Then I asked DH... Who is that guy and he says... He looks like the Titanic kid only older! (Celebrities and pop culture are NOT DH's strong suit...LOL) Ahhhhh YES.. that's it... Boy that guy was a dead ringer for Leo DiCaprio!
So has everyone received their docs?? I have to check out the online situation when I get a chance.... even though I've already filled out the mailed ones. Makes it easier in case I walk out the door without them..
