Went to see Mamma Mia last night. All I can say is "Wow"!

If you haven't seen it yet, it's not-to-be-missed.:teeth:

Saw it beginning of May totally agree. It was Great!

Yes, I saw it on Broadway a couple of weeks ago! It was wonderful. I sssooo wish they'd would release a CD of the BROADWAY cast, the London cast is kindof a let down. I think the Broadway singers are much better.

For those of you like me who might not get to New York, I saw this last Spring in Las Vegas - it was excellent!

I saw it in Toronto last month as well!! Wonderful!!::yes:: We really enjoyed it!!

But...but...it's ABBA  :earseek:  :earseek:  :earseek:

;)

Think I'll stick to Avenue Q and Wicked ::yes::

Going next month in Pittsburgh with 3 fellow DISers!:Pinkbounc

DH and I had these tickets on our "Broadway Series" at our city's performing arts center. Had to sell them, conflicting schedules. I wasn't upset, and I was very surprised at how quickly he was able to sell them at work. Now I am wondering what we missed?

I was never a huge ABBA fan, but once I heard the soundtrack, I loved it!

I agree, it was a fabulous show. Saw it the last time it was in Boston and have never enjoyed a show as much as that one! Funny, entertaining, songs to sing along with, and you really fall in love with the characters and want everything to work out! I wish I was going to see it again this year!

I want to see this show in Boston this summer. Anyone have a 13/14 year old who has seen the show? My 13 year old doesn't seem too interested in seeing it, but I bet she would like it. I'd be interested in hearing if other young teens enjoyed the show.

We're going tonight with friends to celebrate our mutual wedding anniversaries! I can't wait.

I have seen it about 5 times, 3 times in Las Vegas and 2 times in San Francisco. Needless to say, I love it. I think even if you don't like ABBA, you would be hard pressed to hate this show. Yes, the story is silly, but the way the songs were worked into the storyline is fun. By the end of the show everyone is on their feet clapping and dancing, even diehard ABBA haters :bounce:
