maiden voyage to vero

we will be making out first trip to vero beach the middle of may and really excited. was wondering if we could get some tips on dining and the most convenient grocery store to vero. thanks as usual for the help.

Leave Vero DVC. Take a right. Go 20yds take left at lights onto Rt 510. Go about a mile take right on RT 1. Go a couple miles and there is a Publix on the left. Try http://www.publix.com for more specific directions. It is on Rt 1. Probably a Sebastian street address. Good luck.

We like the Ocean Grill ($$$$). It was south of the resort on A1A. Our favorite though was Captain Hiram's ($$-$$$) which is just north of the resort. They have optional indoor/outdoor seating you can watch the boats come and go.

And on your way to Publix, stop at Hale Groves to get some outstanding Local citrus. Hale Groves in on your right coming from VB on your way to the Publix, and maybe a half mile before it. Yum!
