i am not sure if this is posted in the right place but i was just wondering what disney music makes everyone really feel the magic. i love music and whenever i hear certain disney tunes i feel it all over again. i am a traditionalist so for me they are "when you wish upon a star", "a dream is a wish you heart makes", and "someday my prince will come" (and hoping someday he will). i remember years ago on a disney cruise the foghorn played the first few notes of "when you wish upon a star". my sister and i got all teary eyed  share your "feel the magic" tunes :rolleyes1

thank you 2xited4disney --- we must be on the same mind track. i figured that any true disneyer would know what my screen name meant. i was wondering if there is a list of members. i did not want to duplicate anyone and checked under member list before registering just for this reason but it says it is disabled. sorry if this is away from original post. have a magical day :sunny:

:tink: pixiedust: Hi, everyone, for me its grimm grinning ghosts from haunted mansion and for my DH2B its YO HO YO HO the pirates life for me from pirates of the carribean.

This is pretty non-traditional, I'm afraid. For WDW sounds, I like the Africa music played around AKL and Animal Kingdom park because those are my most enduring memories from our last trip. My co-top pick would be for the ambient music heard around Epcot, especially around the Living Seas.

For general Disney music, Go The Distance from Hercules because it's what I always listen to when I'm pining for WDW (I have often dreamed, Of a far off place, Where a great warm welcome would be waiting for me!.... I know every mile, Will be worth my while......). Finally, I love You'll Be In My Heart from Tarzan because it reminds me of my children when they were babies. It's not music that makes me warm and fuzzy about Disney, but it is Disney music that gives me the warm and fuzzies in general!

When You Wish Upon A Star does it for me. Just thinking about it makes me teary. Hurry May 25th!!

What a great question! For me, it's mostly the music from Illuminations and Spectromagic, because when I first went to WDW (as a 30-year-old!), it was the first time I had ever seen such elaborate fireworks/parades, so it still gets me. I also am moved by the score to Wishes (especially when the little girl is singing) - I cry every time I see the show and smile whenever I hear the music while at home. I've bought all the CD's so now I can "visit" whenever the mood strikes me (DD(6) likes the CD's, too).

When you wish upon a star and Zip a Dee Doo Dah are my favorites. However, currently in my CD player in the car is a CD of Disneyland from the 50th anniversary set - listening to Country Bears - gotta love those guys!

We currently have 3 CD's of Disney music in the van. We especially like the songs that come from the rides, such as: pirate: Yo Ho Yo Ho The Pirates Life for Me from POC, There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow from COP, It's a Small World, Golden Dream from The American Adventure in Epcot and In The Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room from the Tiki Room, Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah from SM and :tink: You Can Fly from Peter Pan.

We also like the songs from Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid.

Wow! Just thinking about them makes us want to be there!! party:

I get weak-knees when I hear "When you wish upon a star", "It's a small world", POC "Yo Ho", and "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow"! Seems to be the popular ones, huh?! I can't believe that I have to wait until the end of November!!!! Fun thread! :earboy2:

"Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from FOTLK. "Wishes" from the fireworks show. Both of these do it for me. Also "A Whole New World" from Alladins part in Mickeys Philharmagic also.

My cell ringtone (goes off every morning ) for the weather report that comes in .It's the beginning of HM with the laugh and class break and screem .

For me there are 2-
1. The music on Cinderella's carousel, tunes from Disney movies played.
2. "Tomorrow's Child" in Epcot, once the backround to SE, now it's just played as an instrumental as Epcot "bush music" (general backround in FW)
