Magical Memories of a Double Dip 9/27-10/4 - updated 10/16 w/pics

Thanks! I have been hunting the sites and believe it or not airfare isn't that bad right now....must be less people flying or something so looks like I will still get my "normal" rate or at least close....now if I just didn't have to pay those baggage fees :sad2:

Well I am making progress - tonight as I watched the opening ceremonies for the olympics, I booked my airfare. There is something about booking your air, it really solidifies your vacation. Nevermind that the cruise has been paid for almost a month, as soon as I hit that submit button - the reality hit me  7 Fridays from now (not counting tonight), I will be enjoying my room at WDW and getting ready to board my Magical cruise the next day :yay:

So I thought I would share another favorite picture of mine for any of you that can't recall what is on each of the floors

So the decision, aside from airfare, I have been contemplating these past few days is: to dress up or not to dress up. I am referring to formal night of course. I have done both - dressed up, DH in tux and dressed more casual. I have been lurking on ebay, thanks to a fellow cruiser but haven't found something that is a must have yet. I have to decide if I want to waste precious packing space for a nice dress...hmm decisions

WOoohoo For booking airfar. I agree it does make it feel that much more real LOL. I still have to do some transportion OY ve... LOL Im with you to dress up or not adn Erica also has got me addicted once again to Ebay LOL

Congrats on booking your airfare :cool1: Now you have a way to get to your cruise!!!

I love that pic! Ahhh.......7 more weeks and we'll be looking at it in person! :goodvibes

Thanks for posting the pic, I was wondering if something like that would be posted to help us newbies

Sure :thumbsup2 I spend a lot of my time staring at that sign trying to figure out which floor I am going too - even after 4 cruises I am navigationally challenged! :rotfl2:

So does anyone else do this - I find myself looking at pictures from my other cruises over and over the closer I get to my cruise....its like a photo obsession. So - I figured I would share a few from my last cruises..

So this first one is a nice shot of how nice and "cleaned up" our room looked every night when we got back from dinner and the shows. I so wish I could have that room steward come to my house every night! This was our one time staying in an inside room (no window) which is why the bed is turned this way.

This picture is from the Pirate night dessert buffet - it is awesome ;)

And finally DH (and my) favorite - yes....it is the one, the only, the chocolate souffle from Palo

I have been doing this also.. but our pics are from the SS Booze Cruz we took last year just E and I. I look at the Daily Disney Pics also on the main thread to get my going everyday LOL.

Cant wait to try that souffle... HOPEFULLY if we get Palo Ressis. :)

I have had the best idea. When we go to Palo, I am thinking we will order not just a souffle for each of us but TWO souffles each...and take the extras back to the room to eat later that night. :thumbsup2

okay and *maybe* I will share one of them with the kids....

(maybe)

Now THAT is an excellent idea  - the last time we went, DH mentioned to the server that he loved the chocolate souffle and asked if they could get it in the regular dining room - well guess what, one night - here it is! Not only for DH but the entire table. So sometimes extra magic can happen!

Well I made some good progress this weekend - finally! While out doing some shopping at Michaels, I ran across an incredible clearance - let's just say I got fish extender presents for .10 to .20 each! Normally priced at a couple dollars - all Disney themed. :cool1: I know they thought I was crazy as I loaded up my basket and asked if they had anymore :lmao:

I also picked up the material for my fish extender - so that is huge progress! :lmao: It will be quite the compilation pirate: :tinker:

awesome deals! thats great... cant wait to see your f/e... see it pays off to procrastinate LMAO

I'm going to Michael's today, I'll have to see what else is on sale! I was in the middle of making one of my SM gifts, and realized I was OUT OF GLUE.

I am such a bad scrapper.

More scrap gifts, yay!:yay:

More progress - I have booked a rental car for both ends of our cruise - got a pretty decent rate through Avis. I can't believe it is getting so close! I think I will work on putting my FE gifts together this weekend. Originally, I wasn't thinking of putting the gifts in little bags - but now I may be having second thoughts.....decisions, decisions.

oh your doing great! .. I need to get my booty moving.. have no motovation right now to finish bagging the F/E gifts i started LOL and still need to work on my S/M

Well in true QP style, my FE gifts are STILL in the bag they came home from the store in! So I have great intentions.....

Anyways, for anyone looking for a cheap solution to use as a laundry bag, I found a great little pop up hamper at the dollar bins at Target. It has a loop so it can be hung in the closet and pops open in an oval so lots of room - I was so excited with my $2.50 purchase!!! :rotfl2: I know, I know, its the little things.

So now the Tux/no Tux debate has begun - do we want to do the formal thing or do we want to go "semi" formal....DH just can't make up his mind so I guess he is joining my procrastinating ways!

LOL the stewards are going to laugh.. I wonder how many of us will have the same stuff from Tar-Jey... I got the same pop up the other night.

A family that procrastinates together... gets left at the port together LMAO JK!
