Magical Express - Everyone isn't coming on the same day

Can I book passage on Magical Express for someone that is on my room reservation but is arriving 1 day after I get to Orlando.

I will be arriving early Saturday but the other person on my room reservation will not be arriving until Sunday evening. Can they ride magical express?

Also, if you plane arrives around 7:00 p.m. what time will your luggage arrive at your Value Resort room?

It's my understanding that every registered guest on a reservation is entitled to one trip from MCO and one trip to MCO on DME. When and how you redeem those trips is up to the individual. So, yes, the person arriving the day after you can still ride DME.

Luggage is delivered to your resort 3-4 hours after you check-in. If your plane lands around 7:00, you can expect to arrive at your resort sometime before 8:30. Worst case scenario, your luggage will be delivered around midnight. No way to know if they'll be faster. If that's a concern, you can always leave the yellow DME tags off your bags and collect them yourself before heading to the bus. The DME driver will store them under the bus.

We did this in the fall. DD and I went down three days before DH and DS. We called Disney and made two different reservations. We just gave them each of the flight numbers & corresponding people that would be flying on those flights. Show up with your magic band on and get ready to have fun for a week!!!

I have a question concerning DME.

My daughter is not on my reservation but I will be adding her to my reservation when I check in. She will join me the following day.

I have a DME reservation and have extra luggage tags. Can I give her one of my tags to use so she does not have to go to baggage check? Will this cause a problem when they scan the tag since I will have checked in the day before or will they just deliver it to my room?

Hoping someone has done this before.

Yes you can hand out the yellow baggage tags to others in the party even if they will be arriving later.

Give each person or group a copy of the Magical Express papers.

The paper doesn't have her listed, though. Will that be a problem?

if she's not on the ressie she can't do DME. Just put her on the ressie and her arrival for the next day.
