I'm sorry if this has been discussed. I've looked through/searched several threads and I'm just not finding what I am looking for. Our flight leaves next week so I am getting nervous!

Here are our flight numbers

Indianapolis, IN to Orlando, FL Travel Time 4 h 55 m
(1 stop, includes 1 plane change)
#1089 Depart Indianapolis, IN (IND) 3:30 PM

Arrive in Baltimore, MD (BWI) 5:05 PM
#2874 Change in Baltimore, MD (BWI) 6:05 PM
Arrive in Orlando, FL (MCO) 8:25 PM

We are using Disney Magical Express do I gave them the flight number from my hometown(#1089) or the flight number that is actually coming into Orlando(#2874)

Or if I have my luggae tagged will it matter?

Also one more question....even if I tag the luggage with the ME tags when our flight gets in can I change my mind and just pick it up and put it on the bus so we don't have to wait for it in the middle of the night

Thank you so much for easing my mind that I gave them the right flight number and that my luggage will find me :)

When we go I just give them the final leg there and the first leg outbound. I have read here that using the first flight number works just fine too. :)

Give them the flight number for the flight that lands in Orlando.

If you tag your luggage, it will not come out to baggage claim, so there's no changing your mind.

You gave them the right flight #. Coming into Orlando, the flight # really doesn't matter, they pickup all tagged luggage when it comes off the plane into baggage claim. If you tagged the luggage, you cannot change your mind and pick it up, they are picked up before coming out on the carousel. So you would have to decide before checking it in at your home airport.

Okay great. Thanks for the fast replies! So, even though I gave them my flight number if I could not tag our checked bags then I could pick them up at the baggage claim but if I put the ME tag then I can't pick them up and they take care of them? Is that right?

You guys are so great!...I know I don't have very many posts but I am a diehard reader and think this place is the best for ANYTHING Disney!

Correct. They don't look for your luggage on a particular flight. They don't even know if you checked it or not.

What airline are you flying? Magical Express is on B side, if you are flying an airline that comes in on B, I would definitely pick it up yourself.
